Nope Oscar lost too many big fights that has to be held against him no matter how you slice it. With that said I think Oscar has been getting underrated lately. He's an ATG who was great for the sport and is missed.

Oscar de la hoya isn't even an all time great. Oscar got beat 4 times barring the Trinidad and Mosley II fights. Floyd has never been beaten, do the math please.

This shows the complete desperation of Oscar fans who have to bring up a shot drug addicted Pernell Whitaker to give their hapless hero credibility.

Oscar ranks higher and he would have spanked Floyd in his prime.

    :thumbsup

Trindad/Sturm/Mayweather/Pac/Mosleyx2/Bernard wins would have bumped him up there to a top 10-15 atg spot no doubt

But too bad. He fell short.

He doesn't even hit a top 50 ATG spot.

Owcar was an excellent light middleweight who had the frame for it and was arguably at his best at the weight given hos performances against Mosley, Mayorga and Vargas. No way was he blown up

Sorry bro, but if you gave Tito and the Mosley rematch to anyone other than Oscar you need to watch another sport. :patsch

He beat Sturm and arguably beat Trinidad and Mosley (2nd time). Those 3 wins aren't that significant to be honest.

Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Hopkins would have made him better than Ray Leonard.

Going into the Mayorga fight, one of his last fights, people were skeptical about Oscar being a real Jr.Mw.

In fact, going into the Mosley rematch, Oscar was the smaller man.

Oscar has better wins than Mayweather.

mayweather can only dream to have beaten fighters in JCC, Whitaker's caliber.

We all know Sturm beat him.

Mosley/Trinidad wins are pretty significant in my books. Trinidad was in his prime, 35-0, and is a future HOF.

The problem is that Pea was shot and arguably won and JCC was beyond done.

OP is probably a Marciano nuthugger.

Marciano beat Louis, Moore, Walcott, Charles... He must be #1 ATG of all time

News flash, they were all beyond shot. 38 years old and ready to retire.
