Like most, you know nothing about the meaning of p4p .

B/c u asked , but that was English the way it should be (the way it really is).

 

I gotta be honest... Just having my boy JJW on there makes this list a good one.. even though.. in reality it's kinda god aweful

 

Not on offence no,but his defence is arguably the best in history and his jab was awesome.

I think he's the 4th best lw behind pea, Armstrong and Duran. I'm sure he'd be competitive but I would favour them over him.

Douglas twatted him but I feel that's a style thing. Other than that he looked incredible to me. Anything after that I don't hold against him considering prison etc.

Floyd at sfw looks pretty complete to me and it's a shame we didnt see him face a great there and I reckon it could be argues Floyd is better on available film. I listed in alphabetical order ya see.

Regarding non filmed fighters I don't mind leap of faithing them divisionally (Greb > Walker etc) but p4p I'll just leave them out.

I've spent 3 years listing on resume etc and this just feels more enjoyable to me.

This thread grew overnight.

Locche was a singularly talented individual. We see that his defense was, without question, among the very best. His inclusion, however, flies in the face of more well-rounded showings like the type Benitez turned in in his prime.

On Benny Leonard, there's sadly precious little to go on; he has a very limited collection of known fight films. Of what we have, he does not overly impress. To these eyes, he seems to employ only rudimentary movement. If he is in the top ten, then so is Willie Pep, surely. Of the top of my head, I think Burley is more deserved.

I agree, Lopez is amazing most of the time. His level of competition leaves more questions than any other else, though. I've seen him look all too human against Guardia, for example. And I wonder if defensive liabilities aren't masked beneath his reputation of power. Marquez is a more polished operator, for me. Certainly, he has no place among the 25 best in boxing.

And rating Kalambay as one of the 25 best P4P all-time is bull$h!t...

 

Actually me not listing him would have been bull**** since i consider him one of the best ever to lace them up.
