stfu man federer competes against nadal (his manny) and novak.

to even suggest floyd is more accomplished compared to the GOAT of tennis shows you no **** all about either sport.

he's pretty damn old in tennis age lol

if Nadal (greatest clay court player of all time) wasn't around, Fed won have won ~9 straight slams...wrap your head around that

and don't forget his record for most consecutive GF finals appearance, consecutive SF and QF appearances...FED is the EPITOME of longevity

Of course he's more accomplished. Floyd has been winning on a consistent basis.

Being the GOAT in one sport has no bearing over a comparison between the p4p boxing king and Federer.

Who cares what he would/could have done. He met his match when Nadal came along. His dominance ended.

    That's what I'm talking about.

We're comparing who was more dominant throughout the entire course of their respective careers. No doubt it's Mayweather if you look at it objectively and analyze both careers.

    Yes, it does.

It directly relates to dominance in their respective sport, which is the thread you made.

The Mexican-American boxer-puncher style is most appealing to me but what you do is but huggery and its quite pathetic.

if floyd fought manny, canelo, sergio, margarito and other threats in their prime then maybe you would have an argument.

fed-ex never had the "but what if i lose?" mentality.

Achieving GOAT status in Tennis is much easier and much more realistic than achieving goat status in boxing.

Boxers in the past have beaten ATGS on a very consistent basis and participated in far more bouts than boxers today.

There's no realistic way to getting ATG p4p #1 today even if you dominate every opponent in almost every weight class. It just doesn't work like that.

Long story short, There is no realistic way to get atg p4p top 5 as a boxer in the modern era.

Tennis utilizes a different system (A system which is relatively new) where achieving the world #1/GOAT status is much more realistic/much easier. You win Wimbledon and you're automatically #1. So no it doesn't translate well at all as a comparison.

Good joke. You make ******ed mexican/black comparison threads on the daily and disregard any information that doesn't help your cause.

    Huggery at it's finest.

dominance ending = still winning 2-3 grand slams per year for 4 years lol

I am looking at it objectively, Floyd is by far my favorite boxer at this time (2nd to RJJ all time).

Federer's reign on top of Tennis is amazing. Floyd has had 44 fights and has lost none..impressive sure

Federer went one season losing only 3 times, and winning (IIRC) 93 matches...2 of those losses were to Nadal

not to mention he has to play on 3 different surfaces...AND they've slowed down the grass and hard courts thus somewhat nullifying his game. Also, Fed also plays at a disadvantage every game he plays because of his racket choice. Everyone has gone to bigger rackets that delivers power a lot better. He has stayed with a racket that gives him better feel. Add this to the fact that the courts are slower now...etc etc etc

Here's the thing dude. I would pick Federer in his prime to beat EVERYONE who has ever played tennis in the history of mankind.

I wouldn't take floyd over everyone (lb for lb) in the past 20 years
