LOL @ only one loss. Frankie Randall whupped his ass in 1993 and then they sh*tted on Randall in the rematch. Chavez was already a faded fighter when Oscar met him the first time and the rematch was just a joke.

Oscar and Floyd are not the same size. Give Floyd natural size advantages over an old Chavez and a Mosley moving up 12 pounds and he defeats them easily.

Prime Floyd is on par with a prime Whitaker whether people chose to acknowledge it or not. He would defeat an over-the-hill version.

If Floyd was the same size as Trinidad and Vargas, he would defeat them. HE IS A BETTER FIGHTER than both.

He would lose to Hopkins, but he wouldn't quit like Oscar did.

    Wow, just wow.

Also, Oscar would go through Mayweather's resume like a knife through warm butter.

Mayweather would have several losses if he went through Oscar's resume...Easy. :deal

I think they are super close on the ATG list, I would really have to sit down and split hairs if I wanted to put one ahead of the other.... I have no problem with anyone having Oscar higher as an ATG then Mayweather.

No, he wouldn't have. For starters, I don't think a 2010 Oscar beats a 2010 Mosley. Furthermore, that's not how you judge resumes anyway.

I'm not engaging in conversation anymore with StevieBruno on this particular thread.

The thing that put the nail in the coffin is StevieBruno's comment: 'Prime Floyd is on par with a prime Whitaker'.

Too many IFs in your post.

They both fought at 130, they both fought at 154, Oscar has bigger balls than Floyd and moved to 160. :deal

Hell yes he would. Oscar beat a roided Mosley in 2003!

Who on Mayweather's resume would beat Oscar? :huh

    No he lost.

And secondly, why are you even debating like this. Mike Tyson would run through Roy Jones' resume - does that mean he should be rated higher? You are one deluded ****

There is a blueprint on how to beat Pernell Whitaker. He lost to Trinidad, outboxed for 11 rounds against Diosbelys Hurtado, knocked out.

Floyd Mayweather's record is perfect, he has never ever been beat. He has never been knocked down. There is no blueprint on how to beat Floyd Mayweather.

Incredible isn't it? These guys have probably NEVR seen Whitaker fight.

Whitaker was not only superior defensively, but was superioe offensively as well.

:patsch Mike Tyson is a heavyweight.
Floyd and Oscar operated in the same weight divisions, although Oscar was gutsy and took on fights at 160lbs when he was a fat ass.

'No he lost'. Have fun with that, even though the whole world apart from the odd few know the fight was a robbery. It's the same fight where Oscar outlanded Mosley by 100 punches and outlanded him in the power punch department as well. I'm not going to argue that case anymore, each to their own tbh.

Pernell Whitaker is top 10-15 IMO and definitely greater than Floyd. But he most certainly wasn't superior offensively.
