Of course it is. He was struggling to make weight, and wouldn't have been able to fight without using the diuretic to shed excess water and make the contracted weight. It didn't just enhance his performance, it was one of the key reasons he was able to perform at all. Because it's a diuretic and he couldn't make weight for the fight.

I'm not sure what point you think you've just made there. He was doing standard testing - he didn't need to mask ****. The only thing standard US testing is good for is catching people using recreational drugs or diuretics.
What I don't get is nevada can clearly detect these weight cutting supplements so why even risk it. You don't need usada or vada testing to catch these type of things. Chavez is another example of getting caught trying to cut weight.
