Ok, so to be clear, Floyd is a pretend champ in his 5th weigh class. That's not that bad, not everyone cares to aim high. But it's a notable nevertheless, cause it may be historical.

Do you know of another champ that asked a fellow champ in the same division for a CW, much less to drop a whole division? There's DLH Hopkins, but nobody thought DLH was a legit champ at MW.

I can agree with that. But Floyd must know that Canelo can't make 147.

Floyd hold a Jr. MW title.
Floyd needs to grow a pair.

Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd's idol, moved up to 160 to fight Felix Sturm for less money than what Mayweather wopuld make against Canelo.

    Floyd ducking.

No he doesn't because Floyd can make more money on top off the $32m as he gets a share of the revenue and Canelo is the fight that will make the most money at the moment. The longer Floyd waits the more unlikely this fight will happen, they should just either have a catchweight at 151 (which I think Canelo struggles to make) or have a rehydration clause. If Floyd keeps fighting guys who have no pulling power and showtime don't break even on any of his fights, they will want Canelo.

The infamous Ray Leonard moved up for Hagler. He had balls of steel.

Oscar and Leonard had balls to move up even when they were the Cash cows.

Floyd needs to grow a pair and fight the young lad called Ginger.

How is he calling the shots by wanting a fight at 154? Floyd's got a belt there, he fought there last year, and Canelo can't make 154. It shouldn't be an issue.

    Ha!

And when was he last in Floyd's neighbourhood at 147? Who'd he fought at that point?

If he'd have knocked on Floyd's door at 147, Floyd would have looked out of his window, saw Canelo and said "Who the ****s this young ginger kid? **** it, I ain't answering the door."

If Floyd don't give a **** about Canelo's neighbourhood, then WHY was he hanging around in it last year with Cotto?

Canelo's not interested in Floyd's kingdom, and he knows that Floyd's scared to comeback to his neighbourhood.

Hell, Canelo's even offered to meet half way between Floyd's kingdom and his own neighbourhood. But guess what? Floyd's scared to leave his kingdom.

That is unless the Ginger moves north to another neighbourhood.

Then Floyd may be back.

what are you talking about? the kid had 20 amateur fights, so he has only had 62 actual fights against guys who cant really teach him anything. he is basically still in the amateurs fighting in the style of a pro. he may not get any better, but it aint because he has 42 fights as a pro already.

A few months back: "Floyd fights guys at their most comfortable weight" -Floyd fought Cotto at 154, (according to *****s, Cotto's prime weight).

    fastfoward a few months....

"Canelo is too big, Floyd is a natural jrww" (even though he couldn't make the contractual weight with Marqez) "Canelo has to come down to fight Floyd at WW"
