Hopefully the Spaniards hold a welcome back celebration for him. They can dance the Fandango and Flemenco all night long. And Scott will enjoy it.

and be on the run for X years, only to be inevitably caught and returned to prison for a longer time than you originally would have? Alright.

You would run from 15+, not 4.

I think scotty was just trying to fit as much bouts in to keep the 'ole bank account ticking over, cos it was common knowledge that he had just about exhausted the spanish appeals system.
The reason I find it sad is because scotty looks like hes finally grown up. Seems to be a family man now, but its all happened too late for him, & the past is coming back to bite him on the arse one last time.

What the **** he was thinking though brawling in foreign countries... I will never know. Talk about taking it to the limit!

spanish system making an example of scott because he's a boxer more than likely.

So will he actually do the whole four years over there?

A group of foreigners kicking a local mans head in(even if the local man is a brothel owner) is never going to go down well in any country. especially when scott & co(get it anyone?;)) were alledgedly laughing whilst administering said beatdown.

& it wasnt a first offence on spanish soil either.

Now scotty was my favourite fighter, a scottish boxing hero to me. He did make a complete arse of everything though when he thought he could get away with brawling with the locals in a foreign land. Anyone who holidays in Spain knows, just KNOWS that you dont mess with the locals or the law over there, or it will all end in tears.

To this day, I still dont know what the **** was going through the teak tough tartan terrors head when he got involved in such drunken tomfoolery abroad. Scotty fought the spanish law, & the law won. Now it looks like a few more years of breaking rocks in the hot sun.

a sad end to a guy I genuinely believe could have become the greatest scottish fighter of all time at one point:-(

I heard the used to beat him in the jail for their own amusement.... Justice served as far as I can tell. World cha,pro boxers deserve the same as me and you, and if we beat down a few Spaniards in Spain we'd get Tho same, lesson NOT learnt.

Doubt he would do more than a year but not familiar with that ****. Didnty his uncle top himself so as to not do time in a Spanish jail?
