Such bull****. DLH took the fight. So if he won it would be all good. he got his ass handed to him. There are no excuses. If you take the fight it is on the fighter . Win or lose that is the risk they take. The excuses always roll out after the loss. DLH was such a heavy favorite.

Dlh ranks higher than Floyd. When they fought I really thought Floyd was gonna put a severe beating on Oscar (due to his age and inactivity) but not even close. The first half of the fight was actually competitive and yes I had Floyd winning about 8 rds. but watching that fight left no doubt that a prime Oscar beats Floyd @ any weight.

    Beat DLH.
    Never Lost
    5 division champ.
wouldnt lose to a fighter like sturm

I am not a huge mayweather fan and i really like DLH(his autobiography was amazing) but to be honest these two are in a different league. Mayweather is just much better. then again it is subject to opinion

You can't rank a fighter based on hypothetical.

Also, Oscar is a 6 division champion.

I'm still waiting to hear what Mayweather wins are so far and above Oscar's. I don't want to hear about the 0, or Oscar's losses or gifts. Anj is right in that half of this thread has been a smoke and mirrors detraction from De La Hoya's resume.

Modern media has made both Pacquiao and Mayweather seem like so much more than they are.

    Ridiculous.

Floyd would never fight the Sturm Oscar fought. Hell, he doesn't even want to fight Canelo.

Yeah I get what you were trying to say and agree, I was just like "wait a minute, so did DLH" and felt like putting it out there.

Though the fact he was able to get that high and still be functional is a bit of a plus.
