I will admit that I was never impressed by him, but now he's starting to grow on me a lot. I always thought he just did the basics well and was too flat footed, but it seems to work very, very well for him. Add to this, the fact that he has a good chin, I feel he will be a force in the 140 and 147 division.

I never thought I would say this, but I am actually a fan of Garcia now.

Anyone else changed their minds over Garcia?

His dad prevents me from being a fan atm to be honest.

As a fighter- I admire his work and believe he'll be in some exciting fights but I can't like the guy as his father is such a cockend.

I've not hated Danny Garcia, always thought he's a decent boxer who's good to watch but I can't stand his dad

I have been converted to a Garcia fan. He showed a lot of heart.

Still don't think he beats the other 140lb champs, i.e. Alvarado, Matthyse, Peterson

Didn't think much of him before the Khan fight to be honest but didn't dislike him either. Thought he was average at best and looked bad against an ancient Morales. After the Khan fight though, I can't help but be a fan.

Just a limited Cotto fighter but less skill. Boring to watch

He himself seems like a good lad, but his dad's a grade-A ****.

As a fighter, I can't help but respect him despite not being that impressed by his skills/talents. He's just a good all-round fighter with an excellent chin that does the basics very well. His timing is the best thing about him and, even though his wild-ass swings look amateurish, they're pretty dangerous. I think he's gonna' be one of those guys who somehow pull out the win all the time. Nothing what he does will amaze you, but it'll just be enough so that he keeps on winning (bar someone elite like a May, Pac, JMM or Cotto coming along, of course. Or even a Timothy Bradley)

Him slapping khan around the ring also made me a fan.

    "Left hook goes khan"

    :yep same here.
His dad threw me off but after a while i got to understand what he was doing. He has his limits and he wont cross them. Seems like all he talks about is actual boxing not what someone is doing outside the ring.

Im not one who wants to raise Danny on a pedestal but I didnt back him numerous times and was proven wrong. Im somewhat of a fan but felt his luck on the Khan fight has resulted in his team locking in bull**** fights. He will be beaten when his opposition isnt so 'chosen'

khan was beating him badly until his bloody chin cracked

    not sold on him yet.
Did well to startch Khan even tho he was taking some heavy punishment but he stayed cool and composed and launched a huge left hook....
I do actually think Khan had battled back into the fight but got too brave again and got clipped. Khan was an idiot in that fight pure and simple
and he stuggled with a faded Zab im not sure how long he will last at the top

No, I don't see much in Garcia for being a unified champ. He has bad boxing skills; only a vicious left hook. The guy was going life and death against an old, shot, mummified Erik Morales and was losing clearly against Khan up until the knock-out.

He's shown zero improvement against Judah. This kid is going to be exposed once he faces Lamont Peterson or some other elite fighter with a good chin.
