If he loses again (I'd say 40%-50% chance at that) he will have to rebuild by knocking over a couple of stiffs and try to land a Fury fight after that.

I still see him beating Fury.

Price will do what he has done. if he losses to Thompson he will go back to fighting old domestic level fighters beat them and make a lot of noise about been a new David Price then will try at a higher level again.

er if he loses he's so far away from a Fury fight it's not funy

Also, Fury would KO him pretty easy lets be honest, fury is trash but he's a lot better than price

Wilder is levels above Price and Fury, did you see what he did to Audley Harrison?! When has Price ever done something like...oh

Maybe Thompson is just the wrong guy for Price, a wiley veteran with solid pedigree who knows he can switch off the Price lights. If he loses again I suspect a switch in career to full time plumbing.

Yes it does. It works like that in all walks of life!

    You learn from your mistakes.

He will learn from his mistakes and will be a different fighter this time around, with Lewis' guidance too he'll be fine.

Got to be the biggest load of bollocks I have seen on my time here.

Wilder windmilled Harrison into submission, hardly reminiscent of Ali.

Windmilling is not boxing it shows a complete lack of technique and both Fury and Price, especially Fury would just have punched through that straight into Wilder's face and then it would have been goodbye hype job.

    :patsch He was being Sarcastic.:patsch

If he gets stopped again, i wouldn't be surprised if he retires. Would he want to fight mismatches vs British/euro bums and would TV even be interested in him anymore?.:rofl

Liking both guys, ideally I'd prefer Price to take it via clear UD, that way he can continue his career fairly confident and Tony can retire with such dignity. That said, my first expectation is Thompson KOx2, if not then the opposite, or if it goes the distance ~ Price UD.

I think Price stops him this time - probably around the mid to late rounds.

Can't help feeling that punch was just one of those things. I went to a club once, stood next to a speaker and perforated my eardrum. For the next few days I couldn't stand up because my balance was completely ****ed...ears are funny things.

Hopefully Price can bounce back & get revenge over Thompson.

To be honest, the loss might be the best thing for him. He's got decent amateur pedigree & he hits like a train however when throwing shots he wasn't tight + he's what 6'8/6'9 and was chucking in body shots then not bringing his hands back up quick enough.

If he get's past Thompson it's onwards and upwards, hopefully he can get Wilder in the ring and end the hype.
