You are forgetting that Marciano can add weight !!!

When you talk about Haye you dont mention the under 190lbs version- do you?

And that terrible example of the freak Valuev- who himself was defeated by the cruiser Haye- is terrible !

Haye hasnt really added any weight.

He just doesnt cut weight like he sued to for Cruiser.
When he fought at cruider,he was probably getting in the rind at 210.

Saem with Adamek who must have been literally killing himself to make 175.

Haye is 6'3 and ripped at 210.

Marciano weighed about 185 and was 5'10

There was same day weigh in's back in those times. He could easily make 170-192 and be a super middleweight-cruiserweight. He might campaign in heavyweight and maybe even win a title if he were facing someone like John Ruiz or Chav.. but would never find success like he would in the old days.

Vitali would be hard for the Brockton Blockbuster

But Wlad would forfeit the belt before sharing a ring with The Rock

Suzi Q on Wlads china mandible?

    God damn....

Adamek was not killing himself at 75- he always looked good there.

I dont want to go off topic here but didnt a former trainer of his write a book in Poland that hes all bulked up on the juice.

Marciano was a perfect size for his style actually. He was about tysons size.

Cruiser used to be 190 , and Haye , Holy fought at that weight too.

Jones won a title at that weight also.

Marciano could do what they did- no doubt in my mind

Good post. But a heavyweight weigh in means nothing - are you positive in rockys era it had to be same day ? there is no limit afterall.
Even today HWs can weigh in days in advance.

Also thsi is the modern era we are placing him in and nutrition, personal conditioners and all that stuff accomodate guys moving up- whilst keeping speed. You must account that rock could use guys like Mackie Shillstone- like Roy Jones did.

The Klits would destroy him in 3 rounds or less.

Klits/Lewis would dominate any HW champion from any era.

Adamek was clearly killing himself to weight 175. He went from 175 against Dawson, to weighing 198 4 months later in his next fight

    wel thats your opinion.

But thsi talk of the "Super heavy" is garbage.

Lewis and Klits are very good boxers period.

Theres lots more "Super heavies" out there:

    Nickoli Valuev

    Michael Grant

    Chris Arreola

    Audley Harrison

All these guys have been beaten by the cruiserweight brigade

Who cares? Who has Marciano beat in their prime?

Lewis/Klits beats any hw from any era. :deal

Valuev would knock Marciano out in less than 2 rounds.

If the man beat Dawson he would have still been 175 for his next fight.

Also if the cruiser limit was still 190lbs I bet he wouldve come in under that when he went up in weight.

These guys can add weight today in a very skillful manner and the jumping of so many pounds does not tell the whole story here. Its simply the fact that the next division had a 25 lbs difference.

Then when he went to heavy Adamek wwent up another 20lbs again.

How the hell do you explain that sh!t ?

Maybe his trainer was on to something. This is a guy that does cardio day in day out, adding HUGE amounts of weight

I can't see him winning over Wladimir or Vitali.
I wouldn't even see him winning alot in Heavyweight atm.

Golota, Grant, Holyfield (Not in his prime but decently close to it, still a very very formidable fighter).

That Holyfield would completely and utterly destroy any one of Marciano's competitor when he got to them.

    :deal

    And many others.

Valuev would easily knock Marciano out in less than 2 rounds.
