No Canelo fan said sh** when he made Lopez, gomez and hatton come up to jr middleweight and canelo put his foot in his mouth when he tried to make demands so floyd is putting him in his place.Floyd is the ppv cash cow and canelo isn't dela hoya, enough said.
Seriously? Canelo fights at 154, he makes weight. Where is the issue? Floyd has a belt at 154; he's fought there two times. What is he bitching about. Floyd just wants to fight the no hopers like Robert Guerrero. Dude is a ****ing *****. He was scared for his life of Manny Pacquiao and now Canelo.
Some of us were not yet fans of Canelo yet because he hadnt really done anything, we all agree that the hatton fight was bull**** no doubt. But you can blame the WBC for that. For the Hatton fight I believe all of the top Jr Middles were injured or not available you cant expect Canelo not to take a shot at a vacant title when its there for him. The circumstances regarding the top Jr Middles are not his fault. Canelo was set to face Ortiz, but Lopez broke his jaw ripped out his heart and made him quit. As far as the fight with Lopez nobody was excited about that we all knew what the deal was but lets be real with it, Canelo tried to get Williams, Tried to get Kirkland and both became un available. Blame GBP for putting that event together
What? So he'd only be allowed to rehydrate 6 pounds; making him weigh the same as what a lot of junior welterweights do on fight night? Ridiculous. That's just as bad as making him come down to 147 (without rehydration clause). Some of you need to remember that the only thing making this fight interesting, is because of the size/weight advantage Canelo has. If you take that away, then what's the point? It certainly isn't Canelo's skill/talent that's got us demanding it (not that he isn't skilled or talented). This fight becomes a farce if you begin changing the rules to ensure the only good thing Canelo's got going for him is taken away.
First of all. floyd fights in both 147 and 154. Second of all Canelo has fought at 147 A lot more than Floyd did at 154. Third of all YDSAB. Fourth of all Manny was the one who is scared. Pussed out of a fight bc of random blood test. nice try naming ur name "mexi-box" more like ****-box
How about they fight at 147 then so he can rehydrate up 13lbs then??? how about that? Bulking up to be bigger than his opponents on fight night is Canelo's strat. If Saul wants to prove that he can hang with the best then fight Floyd at 147 bc we know he is going to ballon up to 160+ anyways. You guys want him to have the cake and eat it too.
Craziest **** I've seen. *****s give Pac hell for fighting Margarito at a catch weight of 151lbs. They say if Pac wanted the title at 154 he should have fought at 154. Let's ignore the fact that Pac was outweighed by damn near 20lbs on fight night. Now here is Mayweather, who tried to convince the world that Cotto was really a undefeated fighter and was fighting him at his prime weight. Floyd wins a title at 154lbs but is now to small and it wouldn't be fair for Canelo to outweigh him by near 20lbs. This is the same Floyd who walks around near the 154lb limit, doesn't have to cut to make weight, and just recently bragged about how he fights fighters at their most comfortable weight.
You dumbass. Tards defended pac in catchweights, and refusal to prove that he is clean and now flipping the scripts. You guys are a joke.
he ain't dropping ****. I have already called his ass out when the news broke. floyd haters was first to comment with their hyprocrit comments. Everyone knows *******s are the dumbest fans on esb.
Mayweather is the #1 fighter in the sport and the top guy. He has earned that position through years of hard work and victory in the ring. If you fight Mayweather, you fight him where he wants to fight. If he wants to fight at 154, fine. If he wants to fight at 147, fine. It's not a difficult concept to understand and anybody who "requires" Mayweather to give up 20+ pounds in the ring on fight night "or he is a coward" is a ****ing idiot and obviously just wants to make the man lose by any means necessary. In the days of same-day weigh-ins, these two would be at least 2 weight classes apart. That is a lot of weight to give up in the ring.
I don't think the Canelo fight should happen at all. Canelo kills himself to make 154 and its destroying his longevity in the sport just for some money. He would be wasted just making 147 or 150 and a rehydration clause is basically accepting the fact that he will be dehydrated for the fight. He could suffer permanent damage from the fight just like Oscar did against Pacquiao. Canelo has at least a decade left in the sport and if he keeps beating good fighters he will be making great paydays anyway so he doesn't even need to fight Floyd.
