You have atell twice then, at 26 and 51. I demand that spot go to Wilfredo Gomez. Or Marlon starling.

Mayweather, Shields, Muniz, Gant, Gonzalez, Viruet, Chiaverini, Ranzany, Price???

    OWW! My ribs are hurting!

Should anyone even recognize those names? FINCH? (Plz hold the laughter)

    BENITEZ (spelled PUSHOVER)

    Hagler (spelled SHOT)

    Duran (spelled LIGHTWEIGHT)

Multiple titles? nobody bats an eye these days just becuz someone has a collection of worthless titles. it's what you DO with the titles that counts

    no, it's true. Ask Arguello

most people dont realize this but Arguello had he taken the easy route wouldve beat Tommy Hearns to number 4, years before. but he wanted it the legit way. You didnt see AA collecting wothless titles facing the Kalules & lalondes of the world or picking fights with has beens

Why u think I got Alexis ranked so damn HIGH? :smoke

Perhaps had Leonard notched a couple more wins in his belt, say, pryor in 83, Curry 84 - 85-ish then added a Micheal Nunn within the proper time frame (89) he could earn a top 10 ranking the legitimate way, the way Hagler N Jones did.

I tell u what kid. I actually ranked Tunney at 19 by accident while I was compiling which means everyone below moves up a notch. The question now is, who is the new number 75?

    This list is so horrible.

Lennox Lewis 94, Evander Holyfield 55, Joe Frazier 92

    :huh

Michael Spinks 42, Tyson knocks him out in 1 round and is nowhere to be seen on the list.

i'm laughing cuz it's funny! You acting like mayweather is the mayweather of today. Dad was just brought in for a workout. The REAL Mayweather wouldnt emerge for another 15 yrs

Ranzany was DESTROYED in two by Cuevas in a prior bout.

What did u EXPECT would happen? Did u think Leonard was going to LOSE???

Who cares about leftovers? Oh that's right, LEONARD!

Chiaverini, a nother punching bag. Price, what's good about him other than the way u built him up? he's a stiff that lost 3 previous bouts the previous two years.

Bonds - a non entity. Why would u bring up BONDS? That takes BALLS!!!

DiD u not catch the earlier poster with Dundee being quoted as telling his fighter (Leonard) "you do know you have a stiff in front of you?"

Kalule "tricky" to you, a stiff in reality

punching bag, no speed, no punch.

bring in Norris whose GOT BOTh and we'll see how well he does. oh that's right, we DID!

and hey, I love the way u built up Hagler then at the end say "albeit past his best" wich is anice way of saying he really wasnt **** by fight time

Guess what else? you're talking to the guy who saw him (Hagler) sparring the month before :D

side not: I was NOT impressed in the Benitez fight. Wilfred did NO FIGHTING, and Leonard did litlte but jab with him which is alright I suppose since he was not met with any resistance

Still, Benitez was a lamb, and a peaceful one at that. Makes u wonder why he took up boxing for a sport

Look at the way Hagler, Liston, Tyson, Dempsey won their titles. That is how u win a championship. Leonard never impresses when he wins a championship (Benitez, Kalule, Hagler)

How is Michael Spinks so high on the list but Mike Tyson who made it look so easy is not on the list?

How is Evander Holyfield much much higher than Lennox Lewis and Joe Frazier?

Roberto Duran should be lower than Leonard. Ranking of the 4 80's fighters:

    1. Leonard
    2. Hagler
    3. Hearns
    4. Duran

Leonard beat all of them lost once to them
Hagler beat 2 of them lost once to them
Hearns only beat 1 of them lost twice to them
Duran only beat 1 of them but lost to all of them

On the plus side, Kalule gave my prospect 10-0 Davey Moore a nice televised workout

How can you rate Duran as an 80's fighter when his prime years were in the 70's

Becuz Leonard was giving paying audiences ****! The fans deserved better but they ate it up. They eat anything Leonard gives them. They even got excited after sending them home in Baltimore bailing out on Hagler. And they still defend him for NOT fighting Pryor

when a LEGIT fighter like Norris is put in front of him, and he loses, gets exposed, they actually make excuses for him!

F#@% unbelievable! With them, less is more.

HAGLER would NEVER have gotten away with fighting lalonde

the press gave Leonard a pass and didnt say anything cuz they liked him

just like they covered up for him after Norris gave him that whipping. In the SI article, they said NOTHING about Norris, no details covering the fight itself. They didnt want the public to find out how Terry ruined Sugar early in the fight & made him miss N pay all nite

Instead, the writer just reflected on Leonard's career like he was 360-2-1 instead of 36-2-1. Becuz he's the writer and the writer at SI gets to write anything he WANTS

The same #@%#$ writer even called it a 120-116 fight.

See how they cover for him? No integrity, they just lie. They lie about his rank & his accomplishments

and u just now saw orriray59 try to pull one over on me, saying how great the top 10 that he went thru. How top notch Andy Price was. He actually tried to make Andy sound RESPECTABLE

he actually managed to make Ranzany sound like a THREAT

what he didnt say was that Price had been losing often the two yrs before he & Leonard met. In reality, Leonard just polished off a guy that was going nowhere!

and Ranzany? he had his brains knocked out the year before fighting Cuevas. Two rounds

see? these are things they never tell u. They keep it to themselves and just tell u what they want to to know

    0% integrity. 100% bias

anyone with a brain should be able to understand why I deliberately kept him out of the top 50. he is NOWHERE near top 10, top 20, top 30. and the truth is, I actually rank Camacho & Norris over him but I switched places just to pacify all the SRL wimps

Considering Duran started in early 67, he didnt come into his own until early 70s. Duran is NOT an 80s fighter

    also, Duran is a LIGHTWEIGHT

He didnt tell u that becuz it wouldve diminished Leonard's victory

leonard fans are never straight with others.

    0% integrity, 100% bias
