Just watchin Ricky on Ringside , what a great guy very humble and an excellent ambassador for Scottish boxing, i have to admit i had a Bredis Prescott moment when i saw Gonzalez on the pads before the fight but boy did Ricky show heart , courage and sheer determination to win that fight, Well Done Rickster , Good luck for the next fight !

eddie mentioned gamboa and Vasquez for sept in his new sky article, but he also mentions Ray Beltran and Sharif Bogere ???? both of who ricky would beat easy

Agreed, all 3 of those would be very entertaining in Glasgow

 

I would love Vazquez but I can't see that happening after Saturday....Is Gamboa a legit lightweight challenge yet? Has he even fought at the weight, other than the upcoming fight with Perez

 

I take it you have never watched Beltran.

 

Still think if that fight was made it would be class. Gamboa kills Burns though.

 

Of course it would be fantastic if it could be made, but I don't think it will be, do you? Beltran isn't a bad call actually

 

Hoping the Vasquez fight gets made personally, can't see him posing the same problems as Gonzalez overall, don't think he is as skilled, has a stupid running and spoiling style, it's effective for him but he's a bit overrated
