Will Golovkin's fight against Macklin tell us if he's overrated?

Rosado has looked a lot better since that fight.

His ko of Ishida was vicious. I know that he hasn't proved his power against elite opponents yet but it's well above average I'm just not sure how good it really is because of his opponents

GGG isnt over rated. maybe on ESB. but nowone knows who he is. but to all his fans there going to realize that he is over rated. Macklin isnt no cupcake and GGG is going to have his hands full the whole 12 rd fight . im predicting a very close decision.

I think Macklin is there to fight and get hit. He is no joke though, and I expect him to take some rounds, but I just don't see Macklin finding a way to avoid GGG all night in the pocket. He is going to get hit, and he is going to get hit hard.. GGG stoppage around the 10th.

I just want GGG and Quillin to stay undefeated in time for them to fight each other. I don't care about anyone else they face.

It will definitely answer more questions as to where Golovkin is, and what he has. Macklin is the first top ten 160 pounder he will face. Macklin is a solid contender. Most people think he got robbed against Sturm. I have heard people say that he beat Sturm cleaner in getting robbed, than Geale beat Sturm in winning. Back to Golvokin, I am not sold on guys stopping smaller men, or beating down guys not ranked in the top ten of their own weight class. Golovkin is getting a lot of hype for doing what he is supposed to do against lower tier opposition, and smaller guys who moved up to fight him. I am not easily sold. I need to see him do that to a couple guys ranked in the top ten at 160. Golovkin may be the real deal, he may not be. As of right now, there is a total lack of evidence against top 10 opposition. To me the question mark remains for the time being.

When he stretches macklin all we're gonna hear is "oh but who was macklin, a fringe barely top 10 contender at best." blah blah blah

People are gonna hate GGG no matter what.

GGG is the most overrated fighter I've seen on here. The guy hasn't done ****. Macklin will push him, shot blown up Ouma pushed him so Macklin will too. GGG is good and shpould beat Macklin but man is that boy overhyped, Ward would toy with him and I don't even like Ward, I'd be cheering for GGG.

Macklin can punch and golovkin's defense is below average and seems to get busted up every fight and a solid shots from macklin could cause a cut or massive swelling. If rosado was a natural middleweight with a punch we probably wouldn't be talking about golovkin right now, because rosado was catching him with some good shots that rocked him a bit and bruised his face up.

@PivotPunch,that's what i mean, until he starts ko'ing natural middleweights, then people should stop overrating his power.People are going by sparring stories.

  15. What a ****in ******. Golovkin gets busted up every fight? He had a red mark on his face after rosado because he was willing to take punches to chase rosado, and I mean chase rosado to hit him. Besides that name all the fights where GGG was busted up, go ahead ****** lets hear the list. GGG trains with light heavyweights because his trainer says he gets careless with middleweights because he doesn't get hurt by their punches. Nobody thought he was hurt from a Rosado punch, give me a break.
