It truly was a "WTF???" moment for poor old Dave  He looked like a humpback rocking himself to sleep when he was trying to get to his feet

    David "The Weeble" Price..

The poor fella looked like he was in a wind tunnel when he stood up. Made me laugh like mad.

I'm not gonna' say it was lucky, but, screw y'all, I'll say it was somewhat fortuitous (same thing, really).

Of course Thompson purposefully threw that punch with the intention to land (his arm didn't randomly jerk and accidentally throw a fist Price's way), but I think the punch yielded better results than most of us -- including Thompson -- thought it would. From what I remember, he was off balance a bit and didn't throw it with full venom. It landing on the neck (and behind the ear) kind of helped hurt Price in the freakish way it did. I'm pretty sure that had it hit him on the jaw, nose or even bang on the chin (no Jim Watt), he wouldn't have hit the canvas like that and be so disorientated.

    :eek:tta

It was a from a combination of Thompson been the best fighter Price has faced & Price beginning to believe his own hype & thinking he could take everyone out.

Don't feel it was lucky at all, to me it seemed like a punch Thompson had been looking for.

Hard to pick a winner in the rematch but I doubt it'll be over quickly this time.

I'd expect Price to get behind the jab & soften Thompson up before looking to take him out in the mid to late rounds, whether he's good enough or not is another thing

Lucky punch? That's almost as mythical as a well prepared Kevin Mitchell.

Where it landed was possibly abit lucky but it wasn't a lucky punch, Price was leaving himself open whenever he threw.

Nope Pricey just has a very fragile punch resistance.

    He was very lucky ............................

That Price was such a big woose and crumpled after a ***** slap.

Can you imagine a Hayemaker or even a Wilder straight Right landing on Price? Oaft!

It looked like a pub punch but it must of landed on the temple. If he done that punch on a arcade machine I would score higher. David even said the punch was not hard.
