Hatton for me. Froch has never beat anyone near their best. Pascal and Bute were paper champions, the next Lacy's.

Hatton did over Tszyu and Castillo and made a fool of Urango and Paulie. He also did better against Mayweather than Froch did against Ward - first six rounds or so I had Hatton in front against FMJR.

Can make cases for both, but I'll go with Froch. The run of fights against the best is something Hatton never did.

As a massive fan, you certainly don't seem to know much about his opposition. Collazo was a belt-holder and a good opponent. he's given some good fighters a very tough time.

Collazo was a bloody good win and remains Ricky's only at Welter I believe.

It is indeed his only win at welter. Collazo was good - he's beaten some decent fighters and has two very debatable decisions losses to Hatton and Berto (who I felt he beat clearly). He got outworked and outpunched by Mosley, who was on a nice little streak at the time, but has looked competitive in most of his fights.

Overall, it's a respectable win at 147, considering Hatton's limitations in height and power.

I remember the Berto fight well, Berto was supposed to be a star and was being built that way and I thought Collazo basically showed up his limitations, when I first saw the Hatton fight I had Callazo winning in that as well, I have watched it since and just about give it to Hatton but it was bloody close either way.

That vid was before be made the step up, by the time he fought Kostya cotto became too big for the weight and it was killin him to boil down to 140, nothin wrong with Hatton chasin the tszyu fight before cotto

So after Hatton beast Kostya and cotto moved upto 147 who was the main guy at 140??

Shame it never happened but you hav the likes of ***** to thank for that,, if Hatton would go upto 147 for floyd and take the fight with pac why would he be scared of cotto??

How the hell the "only one Ricky Hatton" mob can name a shot to sh*t Castillo who was only in the ring to pay a tax bill as a top win are ****ing ******ed.

Wheres Betty Swollox when you need him?
