Price can win this fight.Thompson looks like he has nothing in the tank,Can barely move, slow, cant keep his weight down.Price should do a Bellew and box ultra cautious.Thompsons only hope imo is if Price comes onto the front foot like the first fight. If Price boxes at distance then he should have this in the bag as i dont think Thompsons has the speed to mount much offence and if he does there is a chance he gets caught himself.

what about the 8 or 9 times he got sparked in the amateurs?

Were they all just one of those things?

Cant see him going anywhere with his career if he gets sparked again, more than likely another Audley if he continues after another Thompson loss

If Price gets beat he will get a new trainer/diet and fight a few bouncers. Then he will say I'm a new man and step up a gear.

Not much love for Price in here, one thing I will add, he went in with completely the wrong game plan against Thompson, trying to walk through him and take him out inside 3 rounds he gave him no respect, it took the best heavyweight in the world (Wlad) 6 rounds to take out even an old TT and he fought cautiously, like he should.

Price got carried away with the hype thinking he could destroy TT, but he isn't the kind of fighter you can do that to. Looking back at some of Price's earlier fights against Sexton for example he takes his time and the stoppage eventually comes, that's the kind of performance he needs to put in against TT in the rematch.

Trouble is, is that I am yet to see Price's ability at range or in a boxing chessmatch, he is very basic and has a ****ing good right hand.

Maloney bangs on about how he knows a heavyweight and can bring them on but he's done a terrible job with Price and taking this rematch straight away is lunacy, He's asking Price to go from knocking over (impressively) domestic opponents to world class.

I think Price will do better this time,at best stop Thompson late and at worst outpoint him.Not impossible,IMO that the same thing as last time happens.Really hope it doesn't,though. If it does,Dave and his management set their sights a bit lower.Weve had a lot of good heavyweights in the past who never got near a world title.Almost from day one, according to some,he was gonna be world champion, and then this happened.Itll soon be ripe for a Brit to be champion.Hope Im wrong, but don't think Dave is the man,no matter what happens in July.

Is it just me being unrealistic or shouldn't a professional sportsman know the basics to get in shape. A strength and conditioning coach should surely be used to fine tune certain aspects lacking in a fighter. He can't blame being a lard arse on not having one. Just run more and eat less...right?
