Will FMJ vs Alvarez (154) be one of the biggest size disadvantage fights in boxing?

Has Floyd come out at any point and said hes too small??

He'll go to 154 and beat Canelo and then people will start building up some other boogy man.

The fact is though, that he'll be outweighed by 15 lbs against pretty much any LMW he fights

    How about using some logic??

Everytime Floyd HAS stepped on scales on fightinight at 147, hes been around 150

Against Judah, the guy weighed 146 on FIGHTNIGHT!

We also know that Marquez WHEN HE WAS AT LIGHTWEIGHT against Katsidis, weighed 145 on fightnight.

Assuming that Marquez weighed a few pounds more against Floyd as he didnt have to cut weight, its logical to say he was 147/148.

Given Floyds history, its logical to assume he was between 149 and 152.

Where did you prove i was wrong? Fatigure and dehydration is a big problem as we saw with Pac v DLH and Pac v Margarito. That's people taking advantage of a system. You strengthen my point as HW do not fatigue nor dehydrate themselves to make weight.

I agree the frequency you get hit contributes to brain discombobulation but again the difference in force necessitates a slower, more cautious style in the upper weights. This is why Ali was so good. And why Larry Holmes is underrated as is Wlad for that matter. They all have serious jabs. Wlad peppering someone with jabs has the same accumulative effect as someone getting hit with many power punches in the lower weights.

I'm telling you the facts. More deaths have occurred at the lower weight classes, and it is not even close. Not trying to get in a pissing contest, just letting you know the weight differences are bigger factors at the lower weight classes, AND, more deaths occur at the lower weight classes.

So you're one of the dummies that believes Mayweather weight 160lbs against Marquez?

but somehow they both will weigh in at the junior middleweight limit the day before....wow...what an advantage drinking a gallon of water will do to make Canelo an unstoppable force of nature

ehhhh,No, he'll go from being dehydrated to his actual fighting weight.

    His fighting weight is 165-170

    Floyds is about 150.

Canelo wouldnt last a round is he had to fight after getting off the scales.

The 36 hours allows him to get back to his real weight

Judah was 6-7 years ago...before his "retirement", come on!
RE. Marquez, it's strange he didn't want to step on the scales

This is the worst, this is probably worse than all the Pac Floyd excuse making from both sides

This is awful we have the best fight available for Floyd and everyone is coming out and making all kinds of excuses

this is the same Canelo who 1 or 2 fights ago was a fraud a bum had no resume now he is too dangerous too big

this takes the cake on here

Why didnt Marquez step on the scales?

His fight against Ortiz wasnt before his retirement.

We known Marquez weighed 145b against Katsidis.

Saying he weighed about 148 in a fight where he didnt have to cut weight is reasonable

And Mayweather couldn't bother to make the agreed upon weight and paid a penalty instead. A man whose fans claim is a small WW couldnt drop an extra 2lbs yet you want us to believe he is a small WW and dad says could make 140 easy. I don't buy it.

Bradley 147 for Pac, 160 for Prov. That's less than a year apart. And you wanna use Ortiz and judah figures? What does your logic tell you, why would this guy refuse to step on the scale?
