How will Povetkin handle WLADS illegal tactics

    Great performance from Povetkin, threw some wonderful combos, got the win in style.

    But got to ask.

    hes the type of fighter that tries to get in, hes got the capabilities of beating Wlad, but

    1) WLADS powning the left, sticking it out there like he did against Pianeta

    2) Wlads leaning on the opponents back, and holding as soon as his opponent gets close, this really drains out an opponent

    3) Wrestling his opponents down like he did against Momech, Thompson


    IS THE REFEREE GONNA DO ANYTHING, we just get a small warning but then the opponent is tired, the illegal tactics have done the job.

    THIS WILL BE A BIG FACTOR AGAINST POVETKIN.

    i can see povetkin finding trouble getting inside due to these illegal tactics, holding is not allowed in boxing. Povetkin will find trouble getting his rythm because of this, will be his downfall.


    we dont want to see this, we want a fair boxing match.

    The referee better open his damn eyes, and do something when there is something to be done, take a point away, do something.

    Illegal tactics plus a man pumped full of illegal drugs :-( it's and uphill battle for Povetkin but hopefully he can rid the heavyweight division of this cheat and fraud!

    Did you just see the fight?

    The ref broke Andews clinch within a nano second, he will do the same to Wlad.

    Wlad wont have his ref. That liberty is out the window when they lost the purse bid.

    Wlad is in for defeat

    Hope we get a good ref for the fight, Povetkin looked good, something hiss team may want to look upon is his head movement, it seems to have faded recently.

    The ref should allow inside fighting, not let wlad hold, tell him to fight it out.

    he should be more worried about getting hit with Wlad's jab, if Wawrzyk was able to hit him, Wlad most certainly will

    Povetkin is able to hit Wlad. You must just hit and then you can win. The last years no one except of Thompson even tried to land a punch on Wlad.
    Povetkin will win through knockout.

    Povetkin will employ his former nemesis, the roots of an oak tree, to negate Wlad's illegal footwork and trip him up on the way to a brutal knockout by way of fierce Russian arm punches.

    Of course they're not and this wasn't a great performance by Povetkin. Haye was saying he didn't want the ref as he lets Wlad get away with everything, the ref said he wouldn't but still did

    It's not like Haye voluntarily flopped to the ground all night, trying to get sympathy from the ref like an NBA player trying to draw fouls.

    i hope wladimir IS NOT allowed to hold. wlad should go back to fighting like he did against mercer.emanuel messed with wlads style a little to much.manny had him holding waaaay to much.i would love to see the old wlad style in there with povetkin.i doubt povetkin lasts more than 3 rounds.
