Jones has taken plently of vicious shots in his career so no one has ever questioned Jones as far as I'm aware of. See the Braithwate fight, took some bombs before stopping him in the 4th
Yeah that's my point, he has an iron chin but was 1 shot KO'd early In his career by a non puncher, if that had been televised the 'chin checkers' would have been all over the glass jaw claims...an then they would later find out he can walk through bombs. So it completely dispells the myth that they try and promote that anyone who gets 1 shorted by a non puncher has a glass jaw...
Its the same in every aspect of boxing, 1 Ko loss - glass chin, 1 loss to a top fighter - hypejob etc. Lebedev was getting called a Eurobum about 2 rds in that fight. People just love hyperbole.
Lebedev is one of the hardest punchers at CW and Jones walked straight through him Wach and Jones currently have the best chins in boxing
Khan punch resistance is bad but that has been proven over multiple fights and multiple times being hurt, I'm just saying getting 1 punch KO'd can happen to anyone it doesn't have any bearing on their chin, as we saw with jones tonight
Pretty sure that if Jones gets KO'd in his next fight, whatever the circumstance, he ends up on some "glass jaw ranking" again. Just look at Paul Williams. He took huge shots from all kinda top fighters in his career and finally gets caught by a monster shot from Martinez... "pure glass" according to the "chincheckers" :roll:
