wait, I already did. Invest in a firearm, stick it inside your mouth, and pull the trigger until it goes 'click'.

No it wasn't he was still in his prime. Not absolute prime but still in his prime. Just because he had 73 fights until that point doesn't mean anything. Many fighters were still in their physical prime despite having numerous fights. In fact, having many fights can keep you in your prime better than being inactive.

    No, he wasn't.

    Yes, it does.

True, but this isn't one of those cases.

WOW. I've heard about that being a great fight but I have never seen it, only the clip of the knock down. Was the whole fight fought in a ****ing phone booth like we saw in that highlight reel? Jesus. Also at the end of the 9th ... 5:27 in the clip the look that duran gives him ... If he looked at me like that I'd probably have **** myself lol.....

I'm not sure which of your problems is foremost here, Godhead.

    But let's look at two.

    1) your reading ability.

You've been told by at least one poster that Leonard was NOT green, but didn't appear to understand that.

    2)

Or it might be your math skills. Presumably , you know when Leonard was born and you know when he fought Duran, but you don't appear to have the math skills to determine his age from those dates.

If you did, you would know that Leonard was 24 NOT 22, when Duran took his zero.

Leonard was in his prime. Twenty four years old with 27 fights, all in the WW class, including one of his top four wins when he took the title from Benitez.

    NOT green.

You don't know **** about boxing. The guy was everything. He could box, he could defend like a mother ****er, he could fight inside, he was fast, strong, good chin. As a fat middle age guy he beat a guy who was 6 inches taller and had at least 30 pounds of muscle on him. Went to distance with Hagler and bloodied him up. The skills the guy had are ATG like or not. I wonder if people don't give him credit because he is a 5'6 mexican who ****ed up 'superior genetic freaks'.

Don't mean to disagree here, ale.

Most of the above is correct.

    But not the Mexican bit.
