says a lot about what floyd has actually done with his fists instead of his mouth when so many people think dlh still ranks higher.

Yup. I think it's pretty darn clear who's greater. Mayweather can appeal to his 'dominance/aura of invincibility' HOWEVER when taking into account all factors that determine greatness, this is more of the superficial factors, especially when you realise that such dominance comes from fighting guys who Oscar wouldn't lose a round against.

People say Mayweather's so great, that his 'dominance', longevity and all other factors where he's great is very close to the level of someone like Eder Jofre (Eder is known for his dominance, aura of invincibility, longevity as well). Mayweather is in the average *****'s top 30-40, the sort of position everyone would expect to see Eder Jofre in. Haha, please..why not consider that someone who you rate Floyd next to (Jofre) was in the golden bantam era of all time and he thought great opposition - things lacking in Floyd's resume to warrant him so high of a position..

Name these fighters that Oscar wouldn't lose a round against that Mayweather has. Dominance isn't a superficial factor when determining greatness. Joe Louis, Bernard Hopkins, Wladimir Klitschko all called great because of their dominance and longevity.

He is better than Eder Jofre. Mayweather would never ever succumb to pressure boxers the way Jofre did against Harada. Mayweather is the best boxer ever P4P.

:patsch Oscar would dominate all of Money's opponents. It's pretty ****ing obvious, you can be an Oscar hater and admit that.
Maybe I hadn't written it properly....dominance is a good factor but not as strong as other factors, the contents of Mayweather's dominance comes from the fact that he's beating lesser opponents. ****ing chop chop Corley wooaahh!

Mayweather hasn't fought a top 50 prime ATG like Fighting Harada...you know **** all about the bantam era. The guys from classic can attest to my huge knowledge gap of the golden bantam era before, I literally have been studying it all year and laugh at a comment like 'He is better than Eder Jofre'.

Floyds skills impressme; his competition not so much. Chico, Castillo rematch I give him credit for that. Oscar, Mosley, and Cotto were the best in their divisions when Floyd beat them, but they were done, they would have lost to other elites besides Floyd. Marquez and Hatton both undersized, PLUS moving up in weight sometimes more than one division. Can't give Floyd full credit for those.

Not a fan of Oscar, but everyone knows he beat Tito and Mosley in the rematch and those 2 are better than anyone on Floyds resume Floyd beat a washed up Mosley. Floyd lost to Castillo period so its not like if he couldn't be beat in his prime. Floyd is a great fighter in his era, but barely an ATG.

Oscar has been beat by Floyd Mayweather. How can you say Oscar is better than Floyd when he got he beat by Floyd. Mayweather would have beaten the version of Whitaker De La Hoya fought, beaten Trinidad and not run away, beaten Hopkins (or at least last the distance), beaten Pacquiao and Mosley.

Fighting Harada was like Ricky Hatton, Harada was much better than Hatton P4P but they had similar styles. Come forward and throw shots Harada had a decent jab, he used it pretty well against Jofre but he would never ever outjab Mayweather. As soon as Mayweather finds his groove Harada would be eating right hands all night.

People say Mosley was washed up because of how easily Floyd dominated him. Before the fight, Mosley dominated Margarito and everyone thought he was in his best shape.

anj! No! Don't block me. Despite us both having our disagreements, I will feel empty if I don't argue with you. Who will be my intellectual nemesis if I can no longer converse with you. Please don't!!

dude, your whole argument is grounded on what floyd would have done. i would have banged floyds mom for a couple of rocks, that dont make me floyds dad. floyd sr actually did pork his old lady, he gets all the credit.

Like I said before, Oscar dared to be one of the greatest fighters ever, but came up short.. Floyd can't actually say that, undefeated or not.
