Klitschko fans see Wlad jabbing and hugging bums like Pianeta and Wach and just assume he would the same to someone like Ali, that is how ******ed they are.

Wlad is today in his prime. The performance against Wach was one of the best in HW history. 12 rounds full power, full speed without beeing hitted once (except round 5).

A prime Wlad Klitschko beats Ali though. He'd be too cautious to go for the kill, but he'd win a decision. Ali would just be undersized and overpowered. Yes he'd have the speed advantage, but he wouldn't have the power to seriously hurt Wlad. He couldn't pull the "rope a dope" b/c Klitschko wouldn't buy it. If he tried to clinch and pull Wlad's head down (one of his tricks), Wlad would just lean all 250 pounds right on top of him and wear him down. Jab, jab, jab. Any time Ali gets close he's held and leaned on. Ali would clinch too, but it'd work against him.

Rope a dope? The rope a dope was a specific one off tactic used against Big George, because he could no longer dance for 15 rounds at that point. He aged very fast. He took huge punishment in sparring, and he was an old fighter, even though he was only 32/33. A 67 version of Ali would never have fought George the way he did in the jungle.

Ali before his ban, was a completely DIFFERENT fighter, to the 70's versions.

I don't even know if these posts are serious or not?

Wlad wouldn't have time to lean on Ali. Ali would be on his toes, jabbing and throwing blazing combos. Wlad wouldn't know where he was.

What's the obsession with size?

Ali's footwork, reflexes, and blazing handspeed would overcome any size disadvantage.

Wlad didn't reach his prime til 2010?

We'll ignore his knockouts then from his mid 20's ha!

The heavyweight division is weak, and that's why Wlad is on top.

He and Vitali are the best of a bad bunch.

Give me your thoughts on the following fights if you will:

Wlad vs

Tyson
Holmes
Foreman
Frazier
Holyfield
Bowe
Lewis
Vitali (hypothetically, if they weren't brothers)

Obviously all fighters are at their best, fighting to their full capabilities.

Haye really DOES have great reflexes. If you want to praise a fighter on that, it should be him, not punch absorbing Muhammad. Yes, Wladimir makes opponents SEEM bad sometimes because he is so good. He is clearly a cut above the rest. Ali was NOT a cut above the rest by the amount that we could call dominant. He made his opponents look good because he himself wasn't that good.

Let me refine my statement somewhat- Yeah sure ok Ali would likely find himself in similar position to Adamek and Mormeck, getting his title shot from the cruiser ranks moving to heavy. And the results could be similar, except Muhammad's style would result in his quick KO, he would have to fight modern to survive. Bottom line is Ali that was vs Wlad who is - HAS NO CHANCE, 0/10 times could he win, it's just that far apart to even seriously discuss. Yet here we are!

Larry Holmes we will promote, I overlooked him because I was thinking 80's there. Every other one of those guys is a lemon facing execution today. They aren't even professional athletes in the sense that we think of them today! Get a grip mate! You only need to take your wife or your kid, show them a picture of one of those guys, then a picture of a modern fighter, ask them which one would win without any coaching and they'd pick the modern guy everytime. It really is that straight forward. Hell I reckon some guys down the pub could fight better than those guys these days lol

I think there is a good chance he dances around and creates the openings he needs and hits Wlad with a "Doozy" as Foreman later recalled the punch.

But that's what you are all claiming. Just take a close look at Wladimir and Haye. You KNOW that Muhammad could not win, for some reason people just can't accept the fact. It's not taking anything from Ali's accomplishments to admit that. He was the greatest in his era. But Lennox and the Klitschko's are kind of tied now as the greatest of all time, we all must accept that!
