Klitchko vs Ali would be boring, Ali would jump around the ring the first half of the fight NEVER scoring, he'd survive the first half of the fight maybe win a couple of rounds, when he slows down and starts to lean on the ropes he'd be dispatched.

Joe Frazier was a pressure fighter who ATE alot of shots, he's not big enough OR quick enough to fight many "NON-ATG'S" like that and win. Joe Frazier would get brutally stopped by other BIGGER STRONGER HARDER PUNCHING inside pressure fights like Tua, Ike fking Ibeachi and a list of alot of other fighters. Frazier is so popular because he was the first to beat Ali. Frazier was short and tailor maid for ALI. Frazier wasn't that great neither were Liston or Foreman.

Ali was 28 when he first fought Frazier dumb ass, it's called maturing gaining weight and not running around the ring as much anymore.

Ali pre Frazier was undersized with no power.

It's common sense, do a search I said this 4 years ago, or maybe I said it on another boxing message board?

I did, Cleveland Wlliams isn't Vitali Klitchko, could Cleveland go toe to toe with Lennox fking Lewis and not almost die in a ring like Vitali did? NO.

If Cleveland Williams fought today you would be calling him a bum. It amazes me as to the reason why a average fighters "mystique" grows as times goes by. I'd favor prime Hassim Rahman or Liston and Williams.

Ali was 28 years old against Frazier the first time jerk off. BIOLOGICALLY YOU SACRIFICE POWER FOR SPEED WHEN YOU GAIN WEIGHT. AFTER HE CAME BACK FROM SUSPENSION HE PUT ON WEIGHT, THAT WAS THE REASON HE WAS ABLE TO ABSORB PUNISHMENT. Ali pre-Frazier wouldn't be able to absorb the bodyshots Foreman gave him.

Not only do many of you lack knowledge of boxing, you idiots lack common sense and knowledge of biology and morphology. Just because somebody is running around the fking ring then a few years later their not doesn't mean their "past prime".

Any version of Ali from 64 to prior to the Thrilla in Manila would beat either brother though post-exile Ali would struggle somewhat. Prime Ali(64-67) whitewashes Vitali by wide decision(or stops him on cuts) and stops Wlad probably around Round 8 or so.

If Cleveland Williams fought today he would do a lot better now then back there. How is he a "average" fighter?

You lose power but again speed when you put on weight

Even if you were correct in that Ali couldn't take the same punishment(which we have no way of knowing), Ali wouldn't be taking anywhere near the same punishment with his prime speed anyway. Neither Frazier nor Foreman nor the Klit brothers would be touching Prime Ali, so it's a moot point. I especially don't see how anyone can make a serious case for Wlad. Dude throws 30 punches per round, mostly his jab, goes to the head with straight shots the majority of the time, almost never goes to the body, can't take a punch, doesn't have good stamina when he's pressed hard. A recipe for disaster against Ali.

Liston reach is longer, jab more powerful and who's feet/balance were as good as you can get and he still missed.

The Klits would get terribly outclassed by Ali.

Ali would stop Wlad, yea ok buddy. Ali would run around the ring scared of being hit when faced with somebody with the power of Wlad. Wlad is 192 pound Floyd Patterson or 196 turtle defense Archie Moore.

Prime Ali doesn't even beat prime Holmes, who was a better version of himself, with a better jab but inferior foot movement.

HITBATTOUSAI would you bet your kids/mothers life that Ali would "stop Vitali on cuts" or are you just saying what sounds good.

Mildenberger who was shorter and smaller than Ali had no problems landing jabs. Wlad would land on Ali all night.

Dan Rafael can't even correctly pick the verdict of fights that have already happened, let alone fights that haven't happened.

Because Ali was really lacking on mental fortitude and never faced heavy hitters(much less arguably two of the biggest punchers in Heavyweight history in Foreman and Shavers). C'mon man, don't be a super-troll. I think Ali would have beaten Vitali by wide decision but I added cuts in there just as a possibility. Vitali is tough in terms of punch resistance but can cut.

Wlad isn't going to be hitting prime Ali with his economical, straight punching style. Ali is just going to evade and counter his jab repeatedly and Wlad will fold, even though he has better natural gifts than Vitali in terms of athletic ability, he doesn't have Vitali's toughness or adaptability.
