Not sure whats wrong with you girls, most boxing fans agree that Geale is ducking GGG.

 

Most boxing fans agree that if faced with a choice, you would choose to keep the IBF as it is more prestigious.
Geale and GGG aren't pulling huge numbers so the belts are the aces in their hand at the moment. It is the one thing that can get them fights away from home in decent markets.

 

Not knocking Geale at all...but he could have faced GGG if he wanted to.

IMO he could have fought GGG and then defended his IBF belt.

He just chose to lose his belt and get a big pay day. No harm in that.

Yes i said the logical thing to do was rematch Mundine but not throwing a belt in the bin to do so, everyone said he wouldnt fight Mundine again when i said that, even Geales people said hell would have to freeze over but i dont see you making mention of them changing their decision. He could have made more money if he defeated GGG then got a fight with Martinez and defeated him, he would have secured his legacy and bank account for a very long time. What i think doesnt really matter, Geales people said he could defeat GGG. Clearly this is not true because had it been they wouldnt have cashed out for only 2 million when retaining the title is worth much much more.
