Ali wins this fight by TKO without throwing a punch if he chose. He could clown, cover up, go into the mirage, the rope a dope. Morrison collapses from exhaustion by the 9th.

    He had no lungs.

......morrison's punch stat would be zero....even in an old-fashioned 20 round fight that went the distance...

Post Manila Ali had 2 stoppages in 10 fights.
In the 9 fights prior to Manila he had 2 stoppages dating back to Bugner.

.......and he's going to stop Morrison according to 70% voters .....

Picking Ali by KO/TKO is as ridiculous as picking Morrison to win imo.

    Ali decision.

I hate Ali, but Morrison does not deserve to be compared to Ali.

Not when you consider how bad Morrison`s stamina was and that his chin was made of fine China. Ali even with diminished power could take Morrison into deep wanter and drown him. Not ridiculous at all but the most likely result as the poll suggests.

i can´t see ali ko... but ali 77-78 would take a beating by a prime morrison.

Ali displaying his zero defense and **** reflexes.

Look at the fool showing his ineptness @2.13.

He doesn't compare to the modern power athletes like Tommy Morrison and he ain't even all that pretty.

Morrison would prepare for 15 rounds not 12 and his stamina wasn't as bad as some make out. The guy just didn't go to the later rounds too often but the ones where he did he was still throwing even though blowing heavy.
Morrisons chin would handle Ali's shots no problem. Ali didn't have the kind of ko power Mercer and Lewis had, Bent was one of those days imo.

The most likely outcome for me is Ali decision regardless of the poll.

A better question would: What if Frazier had Tommies hook?

Could he have stopped Ali then, no disrespect to Frazier but his left hook wasn't Tommies

I stand by my assertion of three years ago. The latter stage Ali was one of the worst champions in the history of the division. If Morrison trained well and paced himself, he would batter Ali.

A far more likely scenario is that we would n't have heard so much about TOMMY had HE been in ALI'S era !!
