Oh, I see. You haven't actually followed Khan's career up to this point.

On a positive note, it would be Mayweather's first legit KO victory since Hatton.:boxing1

Jesus christ. There are actually *****s in here excited about the possibility of this fight. Damn. Soon we will be hearing how Khan is actually bigger then Mayweather and how Mayweather is so brave to be fighting a bigger fighter coming off a huge win over....Diaz.

Speak for yourself. Khan's style is very unique and it would be great to see Floyd fight someone with his skillset.

If Khan beats out 140 king. This fight would sell big numbers.

It's a fight I really want to see.

Although I give Pac credit it doesn't quite make sense that he's doing it now. It has a lot to do with 2 reasons he stated back in '09.

-He's superstitious (or was). Did he suddenly change his religious beliefs? Sounds far fetched. I mean people have quit smoking, junk food, etc. But a religious freak just doesn't just shun a belief at the drop of a hat.

-Blood tests make him weak. Ok, so you're coming off a brutal KO and you're facing one of the hardest hitters and you're willing to risk being less than 100%??? Wtf. I can understand doing it if you're facing Bradley or Paulie but...

Yesterday, we told you about how Floyd Mayweather was just named the highest-earning athlete of 2013 by Sports Illustrated. Unfortunately, we can't say the same for Manny Pacquiao.

Although he's enjoyed a long, lucrative boxing career, it sounds like Pacman's bank account is slowly inching closer and closer to zero. Because of all the business investments he has made over the years—and because he doesn't seem to pay close attention to his money like Mayweather does—he could be broke within the next couple of years. It's reportedly one of the reasons he wants to continue boxing and one of the reasons that, in all reality, he needs to continue doing it in order to survive.

"Manny has clearly lost the zeal for boxing that he once had," journalist Ted Lerner says in an ESPN piece published late yesterday. "Before, he used to fight for the love of fighting, and the money seemed secondary. Now he is obviously fighting for only one reason: money."

Why are you so concerned about other people's bank accounts? Do you not have one of your own?

Mayweather pays close attention to his money? Didn't he owe the IRS not to long ago. Honestly, it's sad how many boxers have and continue to blow through their money. Can't understand how you can go through millions like it's nothing.

You make an inordinate amount of threads about Floyd's money. And I doubt you would make this thread if it was any other boxer.

What a boxer does with his money is his business. If a fighter takes an obvious cash out fight then I have the right to not support it.

Take a look at the odds. As far as I can see he has, to date, never been a betting underdog.

people always say Chico was drained to discredit Floyd but its funny how more than 3 years later he was still fighting at that same weight and was the champ
