it will be interesting to see. i give rios about as much chance of beating pac as i gave robert of beating floyd. this fight is selling itself on excitement alone since theyre both comming off losses. i do know that everyone who guaranteed floyd guerrero would do over a million is going to agree with you.

Showtime cant force Mayweather to do anything he doesnt want to do. They knew what they were getting into. You cant force a fighter to fight someone.

At what point does CBS/Showtime enforce Mayweather to fight Canelo or Trout? Can't they just get out of that contract if it doesn't meet certain numbers?

I dont have the actual contract but my understanding is that CBS/Showtime cannot force any particular fight. Various names in the contract, from what I understand, have different guarantees. As far as if they can get out of the deal with Floyd I am not certain about that but I would imagine the deal must have some sort of out clause depending on various scenarios.

I don't think that is a bad number. The Ghost isn't exactly a huge name in boxing. I would say that is a solid ppv showing for Floyd.

Anything above 500k in ppv buys is good numbers. Those were prime Felix Trinidad numbers back in the day.
