Winnable fight for Barker as long as he takes Geale as serious as he did Martinez. Lot of people coming out with stuff like Geale is the weakest belt holder at 160, if he listens to that he will be in trouble. I think Geale is a hard nights work for anyone at MW.

if its in the usa then its surely aimed at making the winner fight again there, vs jcc or golovkin. eddie would no doubt push for a homecoming scrap between, as is his wont

I think Barker is the weakest out of the 3 UK MW fighters. Geale will be too busy and win comfortably on points if its in the states. I fancy Macklin is the only pom that can beat the real deal geale.

I think Geale is really underated because he doesnt carry real power, still think he wins the fight on workrate feel he will be to fit for Barker

I honestly think out of the 3 Macklin is ny far the weakest of the 3 Brits. If it wasnt for his Irish parentage he wouldnt have had half the breaks he's had recently.

Id back Murray to beat Geale, Macklin and Barker. Will he get the chance? Probably not. If he fights JCC as is rumoured he'll have to KO him to have any chance of winning.

    GGG will obliterate Mackin.

Nah he's with Showtime. If anything they'll use the winner of this as a unification bout with GGG, who they're pushing heavily.

My dream scenario is that they'll push for GGG v winner of this fight, Ward v the Kessler/Froch 2 winner and move JCC Jr up to 168 all toward the end of this year, then in spring next year have Ward (or Froch/Kessler if they spring the upset) v JCC Jr and GGG (or Barker/Geale if they spring the upset) v a returning Martinez, with the winners facing off at the tail end of next year. Probably GGG v Ward.

I agree, Macklin gets very overrated by many on here.
