Of course! Both Floyd and Pac could do over a million if there's a real challenge or a big name somewhere on the card......but Floyd was the only thing that people bought the fight for.....just like when Oac faced Josh and did over 750K in US PPVs. It's hard carrying a PPV event all by yourself and expect to do with digits.

Well when the next joke fight gets 700000 ppvs. floyd will still get paid 32 million.

If these numbers are true Floyd will get less money in his next fight.

He might get the same guaranteed purse but less gate and PPV money for Showtime to recoup any losses from this fight.

It's not him, its his team. Floyd just looks good in the ring.

They know he can't pull in big numbers without a credible opponent.

Floyd actually benefits from his opponents fans. If his opponents don't have many fans, his OWN fans won't pull him alone.

DLH, Hatton, Marquez, and even Ortiz have a good base of fans. He benefits from that.

Hopefully this is some humble insight to let Floyd know, since he screams "I'm the cash cow".

Ortiz doesn't have a big fanbase. Guererro is basically a nobody and boring as hell. I'm glad the fight didn't do over a million, because it might force to make better fights.

Not surprised.. The fighter he fought may be the mandatory but that guy has minimal if not no following.. plus the obvious mismatch..

These are Pacquiao numbers. If this continues, floyd should lose bargaining power down the line if he faces Manny
