Thought it was a bit early as well, thought Purdy might've wanted to take it into the later rounds.

Denis Lebedev and Purdy should try swapping corner men. Jesus wept on a stick.

Think barker pulled him out too soon personally, purdy was taking ALOT on the gloves and wasn't remotely hurt. Might be the only chance purdy ever gets and with Alexander having only one hand purdy might of had a slim punchers chance in the later rounds

Jesus Christ, Purdy was loving it, nobody spotted the hand had gone? 2 or 3 rounds of unloading and Alexander's corner would have been shitting it. Amateurs!

Dumb corner... props to Purdy.... he took it to the later rounds and the last 4 rounds was probably the best time for him to land something .... what a shame because Devon was a t a big disadvantage but his corner was clueless

Ask yourselves this, was Purdy looking anywhere near to winning?

No, he was just taking punishment.

He was in close, taking a lot on gloves, working a game plan, should have tucked his elbows in a bit more, but someone should have spotted the damaged hand, I'm sure Purdy knew it and wanted to finish strong.

Purdy was getting battered by a man with one hand it was the right decision to pull him out. He showed absolutely nothing to suggest he was in it. Alexander was just far too classy for him.

Purdy was taunting all the way through and growing in confidence. Devon's corner didn't have another plan. Wtf is Barker doing anyway? Concentrate on your own career!

Purdys trainer couldn't get a visa so im guessing barker stepped in because hes a mate. Yes purdy was taunting but he was also taking a beating did you not hear him in the after fight interview he sounded a bit ****ed to me. Devons corner didn't need a plan b they won every minute of every round.

Well done to lee purdy he gave it a go but tonight he was outclassed.

He was coming on a little stronger, I think Barker was confusing Purdy for himself in the Martinez fight, just because you wanna quit Darren, doesn't mean you start pullin your fighters out in tough fights willy nilly
