Yeah I dunno, but Garcia or Broner should be required to.

I hope not but if so Lucas deserves a shot and should fight him next if the Canelo fight can;t be made.

Matthysse weighed 164 pounds vs Dallas Jr. according to Showtime. They later came out and said it was a typo and he really weighed 154 which is still more than what Floyd has ever weighed on fight night

good point at least let Lucas have a couple of fights at welterweight before Mayweather though if he moves up in weight just to fight Mayweather it will take away a lot from Mayweather's win, it'd be a lot more entertaining to see him fight Rios and such though actually a lot of potential wars for him at 140.

And your bitchass don't want to see the fight because you can't say PBF ducked him to fuel your agenda.

Garcia is next for Lucas. If Lucas blows out Garcia, Lucas-PBF gets HUGE. This year is not the right time for the fight.

I'd pay to watch Lucas. I stopped buying PBF PPV years ago.

Lucas has something else as well: Lightening arm speed.

Other fighters may have faster feet or head movement, but Lucas's arm speed is ATG. Probably faster than anyone Floyd has ever faced. Lucas might well have the ability to get through Floyd's defense, by throwing before Floyd gets into safe-mode.

Floyd has one bad habit: He tends to drop his left after an attack, just as he's backing away. No opponent has ever capitalized on this, but I think Lucas would, easily.

Also, Lucas is one serious counterpuncher on the inside.

Floyd would have to pull a David Haye to beat him, and I don't think today's Floyd wants that. He seems to be trying to end his career as a reasonably aggressive fighter.
    ------------------------------------

Oh hell, what are we theorizing for? Floyd will never face Lucas. Not in this lifetime.

Shaeffer was right: Lucas is the new Pac. In more ways than one.

Just goes to show you that you don't know **** about the sport. PBF weighs no more than 150 on fight night at 147. Lucas weighs more than 150 on fight night when he fights at 140. He will without a doubt weigh more than PBF at 147 on fight night.
