I never took this match up seriously and never thought Mayweather would take it until maybe the 4th or 5th fight, but we now see Garcia who I thought was going to get the fight, fighting Matthysee. Khan has ramadan and won't fight till December. Broner not happenin. I see Canelo-Cotto and May-Alexander in September. I hope im wrong but im a realist

So you think in the space of 4 WW fights Floyd will face 3 major belt holders and take care of his mando.

I'd love to have your confidence in Floyd but I imagine he'll let us down.

What a boring fight. If he is going to fight someone nobody cares about he may as well fight Bradley.

One pf the 140lbers would be more interesting.

I prefer Bradley, he deserves a shot and it would also be a unification fight

Well I do believe he'll fight in September for sure because of the minimal damage he recently took besides his hand. As much as they want Khan he needs at least one fight at 47, plus his religious commitments in the way. I just hoped Alexander never truly wqs an option because that jus is a horrible style match up and is difficult for even the biggest fans to get hype. for. Hard to see selling no matter the

I would normally agree however I think Alexander would be an easy night for Floyd and therefore would fit in with these fights that Floyd is trying to take in rapid succession. Only drawback/obstacle I think would be the PPV numbers..

Well Mosley was wba, Ortiz wbc, Devon is ibf and Bradley will be wbo.

If he unifies the division I'd be hugely impressed.

TBH, if Floyd doesn't take on Canelo, there's no one else but Alexander left to face. Alexander should be a better fight than slow ass Guerrero though I can't shake off that Kotelnic match. I don't think Alexander can win this, but should end in a 9-3 or even 8-4 type fight.

Devon is the hardest fight for Mayweather outside Canelo.

Alexander is a good boxer, he has a world title, only lost once (Timmy). Alexander is certainly a good opponent for Floyd. If Alexander had power, this fight would be very interesting.
