True, Alexander would win a couple more rounds and be a better match up. However this being a business I think showtime would want an opponent to do Guerrero numbers at least. Guerrero had his dad and being Mexican behind him to help, Alexander im sorry just has no excitement to him. Id rather see a cotto rematch personally, maybe even Brook.

People are moaning about this fight, but this is one of the best fights out there for Floyd right now

A Floyd-Alexander PPV would bomb, completely bomb. It would probably do about 500,000 and Showtime would lose their shirt. If they were to approve this fight they need their heads examined in a serious way.

Nobody wants to see this ****...at all.

Only Floyd can be derided for fighting a top 5 guy in his division.

So floyd fights another world champion at WW and it a cherry pick? Only on esb could I hear such nonsense.

When mayweather beats Alexander and Broner beats malaganni watch the casual fans beg for floyd and Broner to fight.

Can u imagine if somehow that fight was to go down.

Alexander would be a good matchup for Floyd, but if they're trying to make good with Showtime, he'll fight Canelo. That's an easy 1,000,000 buys right there. Hispanics and whites would tune in to see that one. It's all about the MONEY!!! $$$$

A bigger trash fight than both Guerrero and Ortiz combined.

Floyd got a lot of backlash when he suggested this fight a few months ago. Don't know who else he could be fighting at 147 though.

Bradley/Marquez are busy and top rank.
Lucas/Garcia is pretty much set in stone.
Brook, Thurman, and Broner aren't ready.

Maybe 154 is the place for Floyd...
