UFC on FX 8: Vitor Belfort vs. Luke Rockhold

who was jacare originally supposed to fight instead of camozzi ?

 

Vitor doing great for the UFC on FX. Don't go to Brazil and fight Vitor.

 

The UFC doesn't want to give Vitor another crack any time soon bc hestoo dangerous and could ruin a superfight but hes looking scary.

Jacare is a beast as well i wouldnt mind seeing that one.

 

Pitting Jacare against Vitor right now.. I think it's better to just let Vitor fight Anderson again. I think Vitor has a good shot at Anderson right now.

 

TRT is enabling him to fight at this level this far into his career.

 

That thing should be evaluated if it's good or bad for the sport.

 

We are going to have the same 5 guys main eventing forever at this rate...

Good win for Vitor though, adding kicks to his arsenal really was a genius move considering the amount of tap and dashers in this division

A fully roided Belfort would be great to see against Anderson

 

That was a ninja KO. Jeebus.

 

I don't like the idea of Jacare vs Belfort after watching what Belfort did to Rockhold. Those are completely different style matchups, Jacare looked incredible on the ground against a guy who had no business with him there...

Rockhold is a really good distance controlling guy, and was supposed to be a good matchup being maybe Belfort is vulnerable to ranged striking. Looks like Belfort is comfortable attacking at range with his feet. What's scary is we don't see him use a liver kick as a Southpaw.. Considering he's using those types of techniques effectively, he's doing the same sort of polishing Anderson is doing.

Gonna sound strange but I think Belfort is peaking mentally, it's not just the trt, he's fighting on a very high level. It's kinda like he's getting a 2nd chance at having his youthful speed and power.. Just that, couple his experience with his best physical potential, I don't think too many guys can hang with him.

Yeah, the knockout power, speed, his legs are every bit as dangerous as his hands.. Accuracy, timing, angles, he has it all going for him.

Remember all the **** talk between Anderson Silva and Wand? When I think Anderson said Vitor has a cowards heart?

Imagine how much motivation that must be for him. He seems to fight incredibly well when he's angry.

 

I hate TRT so bad. But if he passes tests in Brazil who can complain

 

Luke seems geuiely pissed about getting KO by the kick....never train for that I think !
