    No.

    He certainly didn't get schooled.

He got stopped on cuts by an ATG while ahead on the cards.

A better performance than many of his wins.

Wladimir is so much bigger? Ali faced guys 6'6" and as heavy as 235 pounds. Wladimir wouldnt be scary for Ali. Ali was way faster and had a better chin.

Wlad is skilled yes but he has 2 punches. A jab and a right hand. He isn't an in-fighter at all. Boxing has changed yes but not to some sort of crazy degree. Boxing has changed since the days of John L Sullivan but not so much since the days if Ali. Wlad would embarrass one of the best ever? No he wouldnt. Show Ali some respect. Wlad didnt embarrass David Haye who he let go 12 rounds. Ali was bigger and better than Haye by the way so you're size theory isn't much of anything.
There are past ATGs that Wlad could beat but Ali is not one of them.

I don't know if you're serious or not?

Who's Wlad beaten to convince you he'd embarrass a prime 1966/67 Ali?

Ali beat Frazier and Foreman AFTER the ban, when he wasn't prime.

Ali in 67, could dance for the full 15 rounds, and his handspeed and footwork would simply have bewildered Wlad.

Wlad wouldn't have known what the hell was happening.

He's been stopped by Sanders, Purity and Brewster in his mid 20's, yet he would have embarrassed a peak version of Ali, the fastest heavy of all time?

Ali went life and death with 180lb Doug Jones, got nearly knocked out by Cooper and ate plenty of leather from another cruiserweight Karl Mildenberger. Wlad beats 66/67 Ali by wide margin.

    Styles make fights.

Ali would have bewildered Wlad with speed. How could Wlad have won by a wide margin, when Ali would have been on his toes?

Wlad is methodical. Haye's movement frustrated him all night. Wlad's only chance of a win would have been by knockout.

If Sonny fought Wlad they would never make it happen he would be passed too big bro Vitali. Sonny has a harder jab, faster jab, better footwork, one of greatest chin to step into the ring, mental toughness(fought 4-5 rounds with a broken jaw against Marshall),harder and faster straight right the only thing Wlad has on him is size and strength. Wlad wouldn't know what to do when a man who has a longer reach then him smashes him in the face with it and is willing to take a shot to deliver a harder one.

We're talking 67 Ali/Clay you moron. Who the fk is Lamon Brewster?? Ross Purit? Did I say that right..the fact that Frazier showed so much heart, will to win, determination against the possibly the greatest fighter of all time is why he's famous.

I suppose I'm not covering any new ground here, but Ali beats the **** out of either Klitschko.

Just wanted to get on record with that.

Byrd is a modern day Ali in terms of size and skill, and we all know what Wlad did there! He sent Byrd to hospital with severe concussion.👊

I see there are some ignorant posters here. Ali was out on his feet by Henry Cooper, Angelo Dundee had to cut Ali's glove to give him time to recover or he would have been knocked out by a little guy such as Cooper. Vitali or Vlad would knocked Ali out, no contest. Ignorant posters has zero logic.

Byrd and Ali had very different styles. Byrd didn't use much movement and liked to stand his ground and slip shots with head movement, Ali used his agility and foot work to be elusive. Also Byrd was 6 feet 1 and only had a 74 inch reach and so was small for a heavyweight. Ali was significantly bigger than Byrd. Byrd also had no power, Ali while never a big hitter had decent power and could hurt Wlad unlike Byrd.

Using Byrd as an example is a bad comparison it would be like saying Ali could beat Wlad because Ali beat the 6 feet 6 inch Terrel with ease. Just like with Ali and Byrd, Terrel and Wlad are very different fighters despite there physical similarities.

Wlad struggled most with Sanders who not only had the power to KO Wlad but more importantly he had the speed to beat Wlad to the punch, something Ali also possesed.

Styles makes fights and Ali has the style to beat Wlad. Wlad is a jab and grab fighter, this style of boxing while very effective does have one weakness, you must be the faster fighter and beat the opponent to the punch. Other jab and grab fighters like Ruiz, Hopkins, Hatton, Ottke all struggled and lost when faced against guys that could beat them to the punch. Ruiz vs Jones Jr and Toney, Hopkins vs Taylor, Jones Jr, Calzaghe, Hatton vs Mayweather, Ottke vs Reid all examples of this jab and grab style failing when faced with superior speed.

Wlad also doesn't have the style to beat Ali who struggled with smaller fighters with good left hooks because they had the speed to get to him. Ali had his greatest successes against bigger slower heavies like Liston and Foremen. Smaller guys like Cooper, Jones and Frazier had enough speed and the style to get to the super fast Ali, Wlad does not. Fighters like Holyfield and peak Tyson would be a harder style match up for Ali. While Lewis, Wlad and Vitali would get beaten at their own game and out sped and out boxed.

There is only one thing for certain in this fantasy matchup, is Wlad has never fought a man with the skills of Ali And Ali has never fought a man the size of Wlad.

All of these ATG h2h-fantasy matchups are just that- fantasy. No one knows for sure, that goes with Wlad, Floyd comparisons, anyone.....

The only thing that I believe I can say for certain is (skills aside) Wlads freak size and insane athletic ability WOULD make him at least COMPETITIVE against any ATG HW ever, including Ali. Will he win? Who knows...... But to say Wlad has absolutely no chance is laughable, at best.

Everyone says "Wlads glass chin gets cracked. TKO 2". But the fact of the matter is, just about EVERY ATG HW has tasted canvas and been knockdown before..... If you don't think a 6'7 monster with one of the best right hands ever could knockdown any ATG HW just like they could knock him down, you are a bit delusional IMO.
