The thing is - I didn't actually see Donaire make much of an effort to catch Rigo. He basically walked forward with no clever plan, throwing one punch at a time. This is supposed to be exciting? How can you Donaire fans say Rigo was boring when Donaire didn't make much of an effort to entertain you? Robert Garcia was urging Donaire to throw more combos but he wouldn't do it. He looked more like a zombie with a left hook. Besides, each and every time he and Rigo had a heated exchange, Rigo always got in the better shot.
