You're actually selling him short. They said after he knocked Peterson down the first time in the 2nd that it was officially #22 in twelve bouts. He then scored two more official knockdowns on Peterson. That's 24. Furthermore, in that span of time he scored a bunch that were not officially ruled (a couple against Corley plus a few scattered others) so really it's probably up over thirty. He is averaging like 2.5 kd's per opponent.
Actually like a dozen, but some were ruled to be slips. Even taking away the Corley ones, that's still 16 official in eleven other matches. Very few boxers average 1+ every night at the office.
:nut People have been saying Matthysse's power and/or skills are overrated since he thrashed his first decent name opponent (Vivian Harris). Now he's fought eight more and you could argue beaten them all (Judah, Corley, Alexander, Soto, Olusegun, Dallas, & Peterson) - knocking all of them down if not out - and people still doubt him. People are picking Garcia over him, or Maidana should they meet in the pros. :!:
Let them pussys talk, they''ll eat crow after Lucas puts their fav fighters in a coma. They'll hate even if he wins.
They all got up and did not want any more. Lucas just is not good at cutting off the ring so if you got legs you can run.
Matthysse is going to be a nightmare for anyone 140/147. If his power goes up with his weight then he is unbeatable other than a robbery or a very slick boxer that can take his punch.
