It's unusual how he gains weight (While still losing fast) during camp while burning so much calories from boxing. I don't frankly get it. He's probably just a freak I guess.

HRYUNOV WANTS Wladimir to GO THROUGH 3 AGENCIES. That is the issue.
"Hryunov have no objections to Nada Testing, BUT he also wants Wladimir Klitschko to take blood and urine tests from RUSADA and American Testing Agencies as well.
Sounds 100% fair to me.. So what is the big issue with being tested 3 times?

For those who have followed the Wlad-Povetkin negotiations over the years, this is not surprising. Years ago when Povetkin was in full "duck mode", he DEMANDED that Wlad go through additional OSDT, or the fight was off. Wlad refused at first as Povetkin was in no place to make such demands.

Finally, seeing the fight slip away, Wlad accepted the additional OSDT (he had to pay for both his and Povetkins). Days after Wlad accepts the additional testing Povetkin demanded, Povetkin pulls out of the fight.

If you look at the situation more closely, both the Russian and German organizations are regulated by the same parent agency. I'm positive Wlad sees this as more fight blocking bull**** by Povetkin and after a few weeks he will agree to whatever ridiculous demands Povetkin comes up with. These tests are nothing but posturing tactics from Povetkin.

Taking away the statures and drawing power comparisons:

    Povetkin : Mayweather = Wladimir : Pacquiao

Not quite, the drug testing was due to be handled by RUSADA as the fight is in Russia. K2 have said that it must be handled by the German agency, or no fight. That's K2 making demands against the grain, not Povetkin's camp.

This isn't the same stalling tactics the Pov was pulling a few years ago. The counter from Povetkin's camp is that the testing is handled by both agencies. Seems fair enough. No reason to decline that.

Since it is Russia, I would back the Klit for suspicion of corruption.
But I also suspect the Klits of being on PEDs.

Solution? Use another country's testing organization.

    VADA.

Or both, as proposed by Hryunov.

Although I'm not sure how Wlad can come out and say he doesn't trust a WADA affiliated anti-doping agency. You lost the purse bids, you're fighting in Russia, the Russian agency should handle the testing. That should be the end of it.

I can see how being tested by ONLY the Russian organization seems sketchy, especially for such a high profile fight with an unusual purse bid involved. Dual testing is odd but seems the best solution.
