Garcia wont quit, he will take a beating I think his chin is legit but he will eventually get dropped, hes got a good left hook but Matthysse keeps his guard wide on his head dont see it landing too much

Danny doesn't want this. He shat himself at ringside the other night.

Matthysse by stoppage in the middle rounds. Garcia is not hard to find at all, and Matthysse will find him early. Also, Matthysse has under rated defense and can set his feet to punch very quickly. In a battle of left hooks, I see Matthysse's getting there faster and more importantly, much more powerful.

This dude is a walking nightmare at 140. I am glad this fight is getting made. If Matthysse was with a no name promotion, he would be avoided like the plague.

Scenario: both land simultaneous flush hooks, as occurred between Peterson and Matthyse in the 3rd.

For the sake of argument, say it's the best hook either can muster.

    What happens next? :think

Lucas via stoppage, IMO i feel as though he is the better overall fighter and he would hurt Danny before Danny hurts him.

I voted draw. Danny is crafty. But this is me putting the Matthysse that fought Alexander vs Garcia. Now Matthysse's gameplan has changed and he's more focussed for a knockout, anything can happen. Matthysse can take it against anyone by KO.

I've got Matthysse in about five rounds. I think he will walk and force Garcia back, touch him more and more with each passing round, and make smart well-placed investments to the body. The beginning of the end will come when Matthysse either seriously hurts him from distance with a right hand or during an exchange when they trade hooks (which I would expect Matthysse to get the better of). Honestly, though...with the type of power Matthysse carries, I wouldn't be surprised to see him tear through Garcia in a couple rounds.
