This i agree with. Random testing should be the norm.

K2 as shady as ever. I have no respect for them whatsoever. They quicker they're gone, the better.

Well the thing is he lost the purse bid. So he has to accept the conditions set forth by the promoter who won the bid and the sanctioning bodies. It doesn't matter if "Wlad is the champ" or not, he abides by the rules or he will be stripped.

The promoter doesn't dictate the drug testing or if there is to be any. It is the local Commision. How do some of you not understand this? The promoter has no control over drug testing or if there is even going to be drug testing.

Yeah. You can't just say 'well I don't like the rules anymore so I'm going home and taking my belts with me'.

The sanctioning bodies have a say in this.

Stripped is better than robbed. Povetkin refused the fight twice before. Wlad has nothing to prove with this bum that got his axe kicked by the cruiser weight Huck.

The fighters have to agree to drug testing beyond what the local commission requires. That is the first step. Otherwise basic testing is what is done and should be sufficient.

Wlad only like fighting in Germany where refs allow him to illegally bear hug, headlock and elbow his opponents into submission and the nice people at the doping lab just throw his **** sample straight in the bin and declare he's clean.

Actually, Amir Kahn made a great point about holding a head down. If someone comes in with his head low he can always straighten up and 'accidentally' head butt you. Hence Wlad being taller than most of his opponents (and Kahn protecting himself from Peterson) resorts to putting the arms over his opponents head to keep him from standing up and using the head as a weapon.

Imagine the US athletics team going to Russia to compete but saying they will only do so if they get their drug testing done by their own US labs. Would you not think this was suspicious?
