He's been stopped 3 times already and twice in a row now. At least Andy Ruiz is decent, but the other 2 guys that stopped him appear to be complete stiffs. it looks like he didn't inherit his fathers Iron chin.. He must have glass jaw genes from his mothers side.

Well, you are never guaranteed an iron chin just based off someone in your family having one. Look at Wlad and Vitali, Wlad has a very shaky chin, while Vitali has a cast iron chin. Lastly, a good claim can be made for McCall having the greatest heavyweight chin of all time, it's very rare for anyone to have anything remotely like the chin he has, son or not.

I agree 100%, I believe it's completely neurological, it has to be. Physically, there is absolutely nothing indicative that any certain trait guarantees a high punch resistance. Guys like Marvin Hagler and Holyfield have super thick necks, while guys like McCullough and Margarito have extremely thin necks. McCall, Hagler had very big, rounded, thick skulls, while guys like Guerrero and Margarito have long, slender heads. I believe it has to strictly be a neurological thing, there is something about the way their brains react to a punch, or maybe they are just more resistant to being rattled, I don't know.

For any physical attribute, you can find all different variations in guys who have great chins, so I don't think any physical attribute determines it. The only proven fact is that dehydrated fighters are much easier to knock out, because of the lower volume of cerebral fluid from dehydration.

One "secret" is staying calm like Salvador Sanchez or JCC.

You're going to get hit and you have to deal with it, stay in your rythm and you're fine.

JCC, Jr. seem to have inherited his fathers chin. staying calm has nothing to do with chin though man, either you can take a shot or you can not.

If you start panicking from being hit you start making mistakes when you make mistakes you get hit...
The less mistakes you make the less likely it's going to get cracked.

There is no denying that some guys can just naturally take a shot better than others though.
