Very solid lists and a novel way of looking at rankings. Nice work.

Also Ellis and you have Godfrey twice!
Not been too critical though, interesting lists.

Thanks. And I thought you were going to grill me for having Maher too low. :) Jack Sharkey was added, and Godfrey ( who is very hard to rate ) is now only listed once. Ellis did not make the cut from 1966-1985, but will if I extend the list from 15 to 20.

Ha Ha but Maher did beat the three guys ahead of him and drew with the fellow above that....
Ellis i think should be comfortably in the top 15 but it was a loaded era and its all opinion.

No Micheal Dokes or Razor Ruddock seems strange & Ibeabuchi is ranked too high for my liking, good thread though :good

The Eastern European domiance era could be coming to a close with Wlad losing, and Povetkin being up there in age. Even if Wald wins the re-match, and Povetkin KO'd Wilder, they won't be around for much longer.

I'm not sure what the nest 15+ years will look like, but based on current young talent Parker, Wilder, Fury, and the best in the amateurs, it could be " International Super heavyweights knocking each other out " with no tenured champion, as the chin's and defense are not the best.
