Bute: Against Froch and Gracev I fought with a injured left hand

Maybe he realises it would be hard for him to beat Froch, even at his best and another bad loss might be the end of his career right now.

I and many Bute fans would be disappointed if Bute never fought Froch again. Hope he does, before he retires. It doesn't matter if he loses. He just needs to fight Froch again and perform better than in their first fight.

 

As I said in other posting, Bute paid the price for resigning with Interbox in 2008 when he had the chance to go in the States. Was a matter of honour but with what results? Larouche is good trainer but couldn`t he find a good one there? The management was targeted for the money.Supersix wasn`t good for Bute.At the beginning of the tournament he was the longest non-interrupted champion at 168, having two years of championship.Ward was a good prospect, Direll the same.Taylor and Abraham had been coming from 160.
A rumour here, said when was the problem of replacement in tournament Goosen conditioned the non-participation of Bute.You guessed:he was just finishing Andrade.
Interbox made Bute big, Interbox ruined his resume.They allowed him fighting with a medical problem in Andrade I and allowed him fighting with another one with Froch.They risked and paid a big price every time.Of course, The Andrade result was turned over but now?
What I have to say is:If he woul have been signed an American promoter, maybe he wouldn`t have 0 at losses but not such result like in Englanf either.

I have to doubt some of the underlined part BB.Froch was going to retire if he lost to Bute,and didn't have the option of a rematch if he lost.By the sounds of what Bute is saying here he's allowed to just plod along in the hope that he will be able to recover whilst Froch won't be allowed to sign for any big fights at the end or second half of 2014(by which time he may well have retired) just in case Bute decides he's up to it.

I just can't believe that Bute has the control over Froch's future that is sometimes suggested on here.
Outside of Bute fans,the rematch is meaningless to the boxing world.
And just so we're clear,this is only my opinion.I'm still very pissed I don't have a late night fight for Saturday after the main event.:-(
