Povetkin under the guidance of Kosta has shown some improvement and he is a man with a vast amateur career and has wins over many different style. He is undefeated as a pro and is also a champion. He has shown power with both hands. This is a hurdle for Vlad and a fight that has some danger IMO, Alex should go out on a limb in this fight and Vlad should keep this fight at a distance and use the jab and right hand when he can.

If Vlad can keep his distance and be economical he will jab Povetkin and use his one-two's until Alex is hurt.

Povetkin should try and utilize pressure and close the gap inside

I think Vlad takes it by a late stop or a UD but Alex is strong

A win for Vlad at the age of 37 is a nice topping for his career but the way he wins will mean something, this is not a super fight but an excellent win over a unbeaten and former gold medal heavyweight.

That Klitschko only beat Povetkin because he had a biased reff in his corner?

povetkin has to fight a good fight, or at least start well or it will look like any other recent wlad fight and he wont get much credit

The ref wont be biased towards Klitschko. Do you think they put 23 mill on the table to instate a ref who's going to allow Wlad hold and foul his way to a victory?

The ref will take no **** and Wlad will have to work hard for the first time since Peter I. For this reason k2 will find a way out. Wlad hasn't that fire or hunger for a challenge in him anymore.

If it happens and he wins, Povektin would be the best name on his record.

I've never really rated Povetkin. He has a decent resume and would clearly be one of Wlad's best wins as there are very few worthy contenders these days. I would still rate the wins over Byrd and Haye as being better wins but a victory would definitely add to Wlad's legacy which is not something you can say about many opponents Wlad has faced.

A Wlad Victory is expected by everyone, I just hope Wlad can dominate and KO Povetkin in style. Would hate to see another timid performance in a high profile fight like against Haye which did as much damage as good because of the manner of his victory.

I'll predict it. Wlad TKO10. Povetkin is tough and can take punishment, but he'll need to come in like a demon, and Wlad is going to catch him coming in.

I think Povektin will knock him out. Wlad is a one trick pony with an over reliance on clinching and holding. Take that away from him and Alex can come under his straight punches with ease.
Wlad does better against tall stiff guys.
