Gary Russell Jr., albeit against limited competition, throws some swift, brutal combos. He usually includes a body shot or two in his combos, too.

I'm loving the credit for Mares. Amazing how much his last performance has raised his stock.

Yea Gary is up there. I really wanna see him land his combos against better competition though.

Khan's combos are trash. 1-2-1-2-1-2 and then sometimes follow up with a left hook to the body.

If I had to say lifetime its easily Meldrick Taylor. You cannot tell me that JMM is a better combo puncher than Meldrick at their peaks.

Marquez or Canelo. I'm leaning towards Marquez. He throws the right combos at the right times and is very accurate with them.

Once he gets his uppercuts working with his straight punches, good luck, because you're gonna be getting drilled with heavy leather in bunches.

    Juan Manuel Marquez

Incidentally in my list the Mexicans dominate: here's some more, Saul Alvarez, Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares, Miguel Cotto, Juan Francisco Estrada.

I agree. I don't think he is on the same level (yet?) as JMM and others. I just wanted to give him some props for what he does at such a young age. He can only get better.
