Bute: Against Froch and Gracev I fought with a injured left hand

Bute is not the type to make out things, and that come directly from his moth.

 

I know,but I can't help but think this injury could turn out to be more serious than they're saying,and my point is,say he hurts it again after fighting Pascal in say,January.
Froch is too old to be sitting around waiting for Bute to be 100% ready.

I'm sorry guys,but I think Lucian has real problems with this hand.Mailgnaggi had a terrible hand injury,and his hand is full of screws,but I think Lucian is getting on a bit and can't afford long periods of inactivity or having to rest.

And again,this is purely my opinion.

Lucian knows that he needs to be seen to be chasing Froch to keep that Bell Centre full when he does fight.
I was right up for his fight on Saturday but my gut is telling me the fight(with Froch) will never happen and Lucian has more problems than he's letting on.

 

I'm not looking for charity but I'm a bit skint just now and would have no qualms about accepting donations from my ESB brethren.

"I'm not trying to find excuses but here's a detailed list with excuses why I lost". I hate when boxers do that. Bute initially took his loss like a man but I hate his reaction a year after the fight. :-( It's like he's still bitter about the loss. :hat

 

It's a tune up for a fight with Hopkins at the end of 2015.

 

Then why would he bring up the rematch clause that is still active, won't have been easy to say the clause is there no more and Froch might not want to take him on? He has a fight with pascal scheduled at the beginning of 2014 and he cant fight against Froch much earlier than end of 2014...

 

Bute won a lot of non-boxing respect after the fight,but he's starting to realise how hurtful that defeat was to his loyal fans and the respectful loser thing is past it's sell-by date.
TBF,he doesn't really have much choice if he wants to keep people following him.

But I'm telling you,this injury is a bad one,and I don't think he wants to accept how bad it is.
And I don't blame him for that.And I'll have no complaints if he's 100% after his next fight and the hand's completely healed...
