Lucas Matthysse now wants to fight the best fighters out there like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Alvarez just because he knocked out Peterson.
Why wouldn't he want to fight the best fighters ? Alvarez is to big tho imo , i'd love to see him fight pacquiao and mayweather but after he cleans out the 140 division

God forbid the #1 140lber in the world, wants to fight Pac atsch Anyways, fight would never happen at this point, given the politics behind it. Another chapter added to the great potential fights that will never happen because of the GBP vs Top Rank / SHO vs HBO fued that is hurting boxing.
I will have to wait and see how Pac handles Rios first, if he happens to KO Rios, I have Pac in the Matthysse fight, Rios is one tough mofo.

Good matchup for him. Pac is a tough boxer with iffy defense but blinding speed. Would tell us more about Lucas.
Well... getting knocked out like that against Marquez, most boxers wouldn't be the same. Rios will not be a walk in the park for Pac. If Pac is hungry and needs a big win, he may have to show it in this fight to show that he still has that power and is still dangerous.
Rios is just a smaller Margarito!! Somebody that can punch but really doesnt have to much boxing skill at all. Thats why he was picked!! He was picked because hes gonna come foward and eat punches like he eats Roberto's! So dont fool yourself , just cause Pac KO doesnt mean he can beat Mathysse, Mathysse would beat the living crap out of Rios bad!
Would love to see the fight. The only fight I don't want to see him in is with Alvarez. That's way too much for him...I mean we're talking about a 2 division difference and a HUGE weight difference on fight night. Physically, he just can't match up properly.
