Certainly not a great deal, and next to nothing flush, but he caught him enough at least obliquely that I'm not worried about Crawford possibly "harboring a glass jaw" or anything like that.

    Here's pretty much my take.

I think maybe he needed some solid motivation in the form of a live opponent. In that case, as his opposition gets better, we should see more improvement.

Kind of off topic, what do you guys think about Dierry Jean. Stumbled upon him in the recent Ring magazine rankings for 140 pders. Looked kind of stiff and easy to hit, but also looks like he can bang.

I agree, l...'n can't figure it out... from Nebraska-- with nobody to spar, 'n only a few bouts -- a last-minute sub, (with only two weeks to train) 'n he fought like a seasoned main-eventer, with every tool, 'n beautiful combos 'n leverage.

He's a good fighter Matthysse/Garcia takes care of him no problem.Prescott made him look better than what he really is like one dimensional demarco made broner look. They walked forward in straight lines without any head movement. He's a good boxer though.

Beats anyone not named Matthysse, not sure about Garcia yet
Prescott was a good win but remember Prescott got outboxed by Mitchell, I like Crawford though

He's looked great versus a certain level of opposition so far, but I'm not ready to make the leap to "he'll beat every at 140 and be a future PFPer" quite yet. Seems sort of ridiculous to do so.

Lol why,I'm giving props he's a good solid fighter just not buying the next sweet pea hype.If he beats rios,Alvardo then we'll talk.....

Yeah he actually has decent footwork, better chance then broner but I still see both going down once Lucas starts letting his hands go.He didn't even land clean punches against lamont & had him hurt stumbling.Everybody's got a plan until they get hit,& he will get tagged plenty.Especially since he's not a full grown 140lb yet, just moved up from 135lb I think.
